They also have a reproduction collection line of their own they term their ACQ Collection with reproductions having been done in Italy. I was shopping for a lamp and trying to visualize how it would look with my other home furnishings. To my good surprise they had a person who handles their in-house decorator and design services who was able to assist me. So if you're looking for a little something out of the ordinary and not found in most other such stores, Acquisitions might be the place for you to go.

I love the "heftiness" of my original now considered vintage Juliska. I understand that they may have reduced the materials in production, maybe due to cost of materials after the pandemic. You can see the foot ring on the front surface of some of the plates now. But I would be willing to pay an extra $10 dollars for the same substantial plates and bowls as the ones originally produced. The branding "Juliska" is also just stamped versus a raised appliqué, on the rear. But just as beautiful and good quality.

From the exterior, it appeared to be a cute shop that may house potential presents for the upcoming holidays. We stopped in, and we were NOT pleasantly surprised. Although there were some items that could be purchased as gifts, the majority of them were overpriced and irrelevant for people of our demographic (young, modern, not extremely wealthy professionals). If you're looking for high end, porcelain figurines, fine bone China, or linens, you might find something here that you would like. But make sure you wear your best and have dressed the part, because as we stumbled into the store, we quickly realized we were not the clientele the store employees were looking for. We were hardly greeted by any of the women working and our every move was closely monitored as we walked through the store. Quite frankly, it was odd, and this is the primary the purpose of the current review. As we walked out of the store, my friend said, "Have a good day!" and the woman literally said, "Okay" with literally zero inflection or even fake southern charm. Those were essentially the only words spoken to us the entire time we were there (~7 minutes). I won't be returning, but I do hope others have better luck. The items in the store are either locally made or locally themed; they have an assortment of candles, soaps, lotions, cookies, paintings, housewares, ornaments, bedding, etc.!
