Ever since my visit to LA and long beach, I've been searching for Banh mi everywhere!
Thanks to our AUT magazine, I found one just I front of our arts department its a little pop up stand where a churo stand use to be. Shout out to the person who served me! Awesome dude and use to go to AUT too so thank you for introducing your fellow AUT-ers to this awesome sandwhich !
I have to say the taste is different to how I remember it, the bread is toasted so I suggest maybe the bread being untoasted to get that taste of bread
I ordered the combo so lemon grass chicken Banh mi and a viet coffee to go down with it.
The flavor of the chicken is there, but I feel a lack to the vegetables, but overall an awesome sandwhich none the less !
If you're a student and need a snack between class I suggest picking one up in the morning (untoasted) and keep it in your bag for lunch :D so you don't have to que up !
Overall 4.5/5 ! read more
