Rob assured me there is no water leaks, and the RV is in good working condition. He did warn me the generator was not working, I simply said I could bring a generator and have it looked at later if that was the only issue then I would buy the motor home. We then had a mutual mechanic get the RV to his shop in town, where he was going to change the fluids and look it over for the trip. The mechanic shop had 2 guys on this thing full time for 2 days straight. We planned to leave at 6pm Friday evening and the mechanic was not able to get it ready till nearly 12pm. He said there is electrical problem, I got you running but it's your call. We had 10 of us (including 2 newborn babies) planning to leave, sitting in the RV. I will just simply list some of the issues we ran into, as I do not know all of the issues as I have not been able to see most of the coach work at all because of the wiring issues going on. Above the windshield there is a black electrical smoke coming out the has discolored the ceiling in the front. -electrical burning smell coming from the front -no heat in the vehicle -no ability to keep windows from fogging up or defrost option -The windshield leaks through the crack in the glass and all along the perimeter, the seal is missing in a few spots as well. -passenger mirror is nonfunctional the mirror folds in after about 40 mph -The tires are 18 years old approximately -The power inverter is not functioning properly -there is an intermittent starting issue -The back cover with the license plate flew off within our first 200 miles somewhere along the way -Side marker lights quit working -stranded on the side of a mountain Indiana / Kentucky border with a flat tire $650 -2 new steer tires $800 -leaks exhaust into the back room -battery cover flew off -The driver side exterior wall has water damage -major oil leak We are very thankful that we made it home safely!
