It was a big job but they were very communicative throughout the entire process, helped ensure that the small details were taking care of (eg sanding between paint coats) and came in right at the cost estimate that we talked about in the beginning. Our three-story home in Stanardsville is surrounded by very challenging terrain at the top of a mountain. The shape of the house also made it difficult to paint. They did an outstanding job, with exceptionally high-quality work and careful attention to the smallest details. They were on-time every day, very respectful of our property, communicated very well, and still took the time to expertly paint all exterior surfaces even while battling the hot and humid August weather. They also properly power-washed everything prior to painting, repaired our hardie board siding everywhere that it was loose, replaced all rotten wood, and even installed new security lighting upon request. They took great care not to clog the tiny venting slits to the attic with paint. They didn't cut any corners and didn't try to sell us on extra work that we didn't need but they did bring to our attention everything that was potentially problematic, which was greatly appreciated. They were even very thorough in cleaning up. They were very honest, hard-working men and charged very fair and reasonable rates. Theirs was not the highest bid that we received and we are convinced that nobody could have done the work any better than Joe, Joey, and their crew. We are thrilled with their work and highly recommend them.

I have relied on them for the 6 months since I moved here and I have found them careful, professional and efficient. They sometimes go above and beyond the estimate work and my wife and I have been quite satisfied with their work. They take on any task. I have worked in Northern Virginia with a housebuilder/contractor and these men are quite comparable. The negative review(s?) contained on this site are referencing an incident and misunderstanding at my house. By mistake, I left some home improvement debris near my trash. It was my intention to haul this away to the landfill in a day or so. There was a confrontation/incident between the trash disposal company and the contractors concerning WHO placed the excess trash in front of my driveway. I must say there was only the contractors and the truck driver at the scene. Heated words aside, it was merely a mistake. JLJ came highly recommended and they have consistently delivered. They have always been respectful to us, as Robby believes his rep is more important than his money earned. I continue to support JLJ and Quality as professional workers, but I'm sad about the incident. Nevertheless, give JLJ a call. They are top notch! My honest opinion!

The "main number" I texted apparently is answer by Mike sometime and his office manager Stephanie other times. Problem is they dont communicate with each other very well, if at all. Based on convo, was talking to Mike for a couple of days. Needed, what i thought, was simple furniture assembly for an armoire purchased from Wayfair. He quoted me a rate of $125 per hour. Sent him the assembly video and confirmed it would require two people given the size of some of the pieces. Appointment day rolls around and only one worker is sent. Texted the main number and Stephanie replies. Rescheduled for another day and the worker comes back with his teenage son Now, according to the Wayfair website and reviews by other purchasers, one buyer and his 14 yo son managed to do the job in 4 hours. Wayfair estimates it takes a handy homeowner 6 hours to complete the job. took Mike's "professional" and his helper 8 hours to do the job. Was never told the rate went up to $175 for the 2nd person involved. so an $1100 purchase cost another $1400 to assemble using Mike 's guy and his teenager. Was never given an estimate of how long it would take based on the video provided. Was never told of the higher rate -- just "Furniture assembly is $125 per hour). Problem is, VA law requires a licensed contractor to provide a written estimate of the cost of the work undertaken and a timeframe for completion neither were provided, yet he is still insisting on full payment of $1400. No discount for wasting our afternoon when he failed to send 2 workers the first day, no discount for a teenage worker. No considerations for the fact no estimate was ever provided. If the VA board of contractors says I should pay $1400, Ill pay $1400. But not paying a penny till they weigh in on his practices.

The owner, Tsetsi, was highly recommended by a plumber that had done work for us. Tsetsi completed our master bathroom remodel as well as renovation of 4 other bathrooms in the house. The quality of work was excellent. He did a beautiful job redesigning the master bath shower. The tile work he did in the master bath shower and around the bathtub was exceptionally beautiful. He also tiled floors in three of the other bathrooms and they are all equally as nice. His attention to detail was impressive. Tetsi also recommended other tradesmen for work on the job such as a plumber, electrician, and a company that we worked with to have quartz countertops installed in each bathroom. The quality of these people was also exceptional. Of note, each of them commented to me about the high quality of Tsetsi's work, and how easy he is to work with. Tsetsi has repaired boards on our deck, managed and built supports under the deck for a hot tub, painted cabinets, built shelves, and things I can't even remember. He can make just about anything happen. The communication with Tsetsi is the best I have had with someone who worked on my house. This was especially important because the house being worked on is three hours from our full-time residence. It was reassuring that he kept in close contact. He was willing to do anything we asked, and he was able to figure out what needed to be done. The cost and timeline were right on target. Tetsi and his workers were respectful of our house and cleaned up after the work was done. We highly recommend TBH Home Solutions for just about any project on a house. The tile work exceeded expectations. The work we had done was high quality and it was clear they cared that we were satisfied with the work. We will hire them in the future.
