I especially enjoyed the salmorejo (a similar dish to gazpacho) and the shrimp paella. Both were superb. The rice had a lot of taste, the taste of the shrimp was really upfront, truly enjoyable. The restaurant is beautiful, intimate and elegant. The service very knowledgeable and friendly. Nectari is a hidden gem, a place were food departs from tradition, but that is wisely enhanced with interesting product combinations, and not superfluous games of gastronomic experiments. I will keep going every time I am in Barcelona.

First of all, it's obvious that this establishment is passionate with its food. However I am as…read morewell very picky with my food. I ordered a lot different stuff, some were truly amazing and one was so badly burned that I had to send it back. We basically had the entire spectrum of taste and quality. The ceviche was very good, but I ordered the prawn ceviche and got the fish ceviche. No biggie since it vas delicious. Eggplant fries with chocolate sauce, beautiful, brilliant and innovative. 5/5 My pulled pork was burned so bad, tried to remove the burnt parts but it was uneatable. The Provoleta was a mixed experience, tomato version was a big hit, the pin apple version a disappointment. Great enthusiasm even though the orders were mixed up. Hard to decide between a 3 star or a 4 star rating.

With so many great places to eat, fitting this place in midday really helped us maximize the culinary tour de force that was our trip to Barcelona. Our waiter, Tomaso, was a delight. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and knew exactly when to come to our table and when to give us space. At the end of the meal we had a lovely conversation and he told us why Barcelona is such an international city and how easy it was to be a transplant from Italy. Almost as good as our meal was the environment. There was one other person dining there, someone my partner aptly described as an "international man of mystery." He was gregarious and clearly living his best life. Every dish, he would ask Tomaso to pick out a wine and each time he would say, "Money is no object!" or that the price did not matter. He loved everything Tomaso brought and it did not appear at thought Tomaso took advantage of this man's willingness to spend top dollar, even though the man asked it his name was, "To-mah-to." This place lives up to everything you hear about Barcelona being gastronomic paradise with more Michelin stars per capita than just about anywhere.

Good place, nothing to write home about, there's definitely better in Barcelona, but I liked it fine!

It's a really cool space too, really open and very modern looking seating area. In a great area in Gràcia too, near a plethora of beautiful plazas. Awesome.
