A real pool table that is made solid with quality material such as slate and wood? Or, are you buying one built with plywood and held together by glue? What about delivery, set up and warranty? Who can I turn to if I have issues upon delivery or down the road? Not the company I bought from online most likely. These questions were things I hadn't understood or considered until I spoke to the great ladies at Pool Tables Plus in Columbia. Their knowledge and understanding of what I was looking for, not only then but long term, are what I chose to go with. They were able to special order me this beautiful Presidential Carmel pool table, with matching storage benches, dining top, ping pong topper and all the accessories. I was met with professionalism, courteous care, updates throughout the process and competitive pricing. Delivery was done with great guys who know how to put these pieces together because of years of experience doing this specifically, not some random person winging it. If you've ever seen a pool table like this put together, you know it's not a do it yourself project. I feel secure knowing if I ever need anything, I can turn to these folks, who are local, vs. dealing with claims out of state, if that were ever to arise. The so called "club house" was a storage shed with no bathroom, running water, heat/A/C, the gardens were run down flower beds. At the time of our visit, they were NOT affiliated with AANR, I verified this with AANR headquarters when I called them to file a complaint with them for allowing their name to be affiliated with such a deplorable, rundown, and unhealthy place claiming to be a a "relaxing getaway and member of AANR".

There was a young girl who was helping me find some dresses to wear for Carolina Cup and although she was nice to me, she clearly didn't know my size as she pointed out many different dresses... which brings me to my next point. My only issue with this place is that they didn't carry many dresses with sizes in a 10 or higher. There were only two dresses I saw in an 8 and the majority of them were in a size 4 or lower. As a curvy woman that is top heavy, who wears a 12, or a large, this was disappointing for me. Out of the three dresses I tried on, I was pleasantly surprised that one actually fit my body type very nicely, but I wanted to keep my options open since the dress was fairly expensive. The shoes and accessories here are very beautiful though and I do plan on coming back!
