My husband does photography as a hobby and is very particular about style and technique, so I thought he would have a hard time being in love with any photographer. However, as soon as we saw her natural, bright and unposed style, we knew that we had to have her capture our day. I think that the photos speak for themselves, but what you can't see is probably most important - amazing customer service. From the time that I inquired about her availability all the way to delivering pictures, Veronica was very responsive and thorough. I've always felt welcome to ask questions, re-arrange the timeline, add extra time and so on. We conversed and processed all paperwork/payments online which is 100% my preferred method of communications (hi, millenial here). On the wedding day, having Veronica and her assistant there really helped me relax and enjoy the wedding instead of fretting about the timeline. She worked so well with the other vendors and my friends and family loved her too :) When my bustle broke, she even teamed up with my coordinator to fix it quickly and get me back to the party. I am really not a person who is interested in being photographed, so when it comes to portraits, I'm not usually expecting to like very many of them. She reviewed my ideas and came up with the perfect location for author headshots. She emailed and texted before the shoot to check in with me, and during the shoot, she was so friendly, creating a fun and positive environment during what could have been awkward (I don't love having my photos taken!). The photo shoot was really great too. She took a ton of pictures and we never felt rushed, but she didn't waste any time either. I have a 9 month old and a 2 year old and they didn't always cooperate, but she was great with them. Wearing a mask added another level of difficultly trying to engage with the kids, but she did wonderful, and we appreciated her wearing the mask while in our home. Highly recommended for studio work of any kind. His shots are well-composed and perfectly lit from every angle. His retouching is like expertly applied makeup - a ton of work and worlds of improvement and you hardly know it's there. Practical stuff was all great. Turnaround time from the shoot was brief, just a couple of business days, faster than promised. No need to send them back for round two or any reworks, he nailed it on the first go. The studio itself was exactly what you want in a working studio floor - comfortable, packed to the gills with all the gear you might need, and messy like the space of a creative person. The space put me at ease and made getting the shots we needed that much more efficient. Communication throughout the whole thing was perfect and quick. For simple portraits and headshots in one wardrobe I was in and out in an easy half hour after starting right on time. In the end I paid for two shots and he sent me multiple cuts of five shots. For what I paid and the quality of work, I got a great bargain. I expect to use these shots for years to come.
