I came down for a wine-tasting trip during Memorial Day weekend. On the way back up to Seattle, I stopped by Video Only Jantzen Beach to pick up a television for my new home. I was greeted by Mike Marto who I believe has been working with Video Only for around 30 years! He actually started at the Tukwila Video Only in Washington State where I usually purchase my TVs. Mike was great! He answered all of our questions without pressure. He is extremely knowledgeable about TVs, brands, features and even sound bars and mounts! We felt well taken care of and confident in our purchase with his guidance. He even came out to the parking lot to make sure the television would fit in our vehicle. Mike and another associate carefully loaded the TV and sound bar in our car and thanked us for our business. I would highly recommend Mike and the staff at Video Only Jantzen Beach and will be back again for all of my television needs. Thanks again! read more

I had a great experience with video only and the personnel that there. I got a great price on a very nice TV and sound bar. It turned out. I didn't really need the sound bar even though I'd open the box they took it back for a full refund and I was very grateful. I found and informative I would recommend video only at Jensen Beach to anyone. read more

This store is a perfect example of why you should shop local and not the big chain or online. They have gone above and beyond customer service for me time and time again and even matched a price I found online. They are always down to help you out and I can't recommend enough. read more

We were in store today. The salesman, Marc, went above and beyond with his customer service. He was knowledgeable about the products, answered all our questions and was was very nice to work with for our purchase. They recycle old tv's. The store was clean and comfortable. The employees were all friendly and clearly work well together. I would recommend this store and of course Marc to everyone looking to buy a new tv. read more

Great deals and they know what they're talking about. Back in my 20s I used to sell televisions and sound systems and it's kind of my hobby. When I went in there I was surprised how much they knew. If you don't go there, you may be getting the wrong Tv or expectations may be one thing and reality another. read more

My elderly parents thought their TV was broken as there was no sound. My dad will only buy Sony products, which tend to be more expensive. On Saturday, my dad came into Video Only and spent over $700 on a new television. My husband set it up for them and brought their "broken" tv to our home. He's the "fix it" guy in the family and wanted to see if he could figure out the issue. Long, long story short, but the issue was really that my mother is too weak to operate the remote. She can't push down hard enough. When we figured this out, I called Video Only to ask about their return policy. I was very politely told that for a full refund, the TV has to be in its original packing and never been opened. If you've opened up the box, you are offered a store credit. I said thank you and was going to hang up when he asked why I wanted to bring it back. I explained to him the story and shared how sad and frustrating it can be watching your parents age and lose some of their common sense. Turns out, I was talking to Chuck, who is the store manager. Without me asking, he offered to refund the entire amount if my parents still had all the packaging. Sadly, my parents destroyed the box and packaging. Chuck didn't have to take the time to ask about why we wanted to return the TV. I think maybe he heard the stress in my voice. Maybe he's had frustration with his parents too and could relate. Whatever the reason, his care and kindness are very much appreciated. I know where we'll be shopping for our next TV. Chuck should be the poster boy of EXCELLENT customer service. read more

I typically stray away from a lot of the locations on Jantzen Beach but MAN this place is awesome! Best prices on TVs and accessories, fantastic service, and way less chaotic than nearby Best Buy (we had no wait on Black Friday at Video Only). Will definitely be returning! read more

This place has better price than anywhere else. I purchased 3 TVs from there! Ryan and his team took care of me and went above and beyond to make sure I'm happy with the purchases and my needs were met. Highly recommended for TVs and sound-bars. I also recommend purchasing the warranty because you just never know :) read more

Years back I had purchased a few TVs from this location. It was sad to walk in the other day and see that the store itself looks to be JUST TVs now. Looked like they still had Blu ray, surround sound and wall mounts as well. A lot can change in 3 years. Looking for 1080p TVs for the twerps, needed to be cost efficient. I didn't find that this time. Great salesmen / service. In my opinion, with Best Buy right next door, their prices should be more competitive. read more

I have heard their commercials on the radio for some time so decided to drop in on my way to their big box neighbor to buy a 65" TV for the parlor. I knew I wanted the Q70 so it was just for a price check to compare. The salesman was very knowledgeable which you just don't see much of nowadays. He recognized I was an educated shopper, showed me the model higher for comparisons sake and agreed that for my intended use it would be overkill. The price was a significant discount over BestBuy and I was out the door with a TV loaded in the truck in 15 minutes. Having purchased 3 TV's in the last two years I wish I stopped in sooner. read more

They went the extra mile to help me make a purchase for my father. Jeff was stellar and accommodating, a gold-star sales man as they were ever made. He even threw in a free 5 year warranty! Can't recommend this shop enough! Emi read more

Had a VERY similar experience to Meri H below. Purchased an item that didn't perform satisfactorily. Took it back two days later under their 30 DAY RETURN POLICY and was refused a refund (only given an in-store credit) because I'D OPENED THE BOX! When I asked how I was supposed to decide whether I was satisfied with the product without opening the box, all I got was double-talk and the run-around. I've been fighting with these people since August '10, trying to get my money back. They won't answer my letters, didn't respond to a Better Business Bureau complaint, and gave a non-answer to the State Attorney General's Office of Consumer Protection. Yikes! Steer well clear; spend your dollars with an outfit that treats its customers properly. read more

Salesperson was good and very helpful. Delivery guys were great they went above and beyond. Explained everything in detail. Appreciated

The deals on TVs that Video Only is able to do are honestly insane. We're talking over $1000 off on some models. When I first went in, I was greeted by Marc and he's been just the best to work with. He's super knowledgeable and really just wants to make sure you're getting the right TV for you, not the TV that is going to get him the biggest commission. I got 2 TVs and a receiver and saved probably 20-25% off of the lowest prices I could find online. With price assurance, no-hassle returns and 5-year warranty coverage, it's absolutely a no brainer to get your TVs and accessories here. Customer for life! read more

I cannot say enough good things about this company. I bought an open box sound bar from them and didn't think to call to ask them the reason my sound bar was fritzing out on me. In fact, I didn't call them until about five months later. I'm the best at life. Anyhow, they were still willing to help me out if I could bring in my receipt. I couldn't find it. So, Ryan, the manager, said he would dig on his end to see if he could find the original transaction. Unfortunately, he was unable to locate it (five months; remember? My fault; also remember?). However, because of the great care that was extended to me Ryan made me a customer for life. I went in with my tail tucked between my legs (proverbial, come on people) and he helped me find a great sound bar, which I purchased and has worked wonderfully. I recommend Video Only to anyone, because they truly care about their customers getting the best experience when shopping for home electronics. read more

experienced sales staff and excellent customer service...fair pricing...large selection...

Super helpful staff and very generous. They gave us free remotes. Thank you so much!!! Really appreciate the help.

Like many others I went to Best Buy but decided against a purchase. Price was a little high (LG 65 OLED) and service was marginal as usual. Stopped by here and saved $200, was treated well and was in and out in 10 minutes. I won't get anywhere else in future. Jeff was excellent. Highly recommend this place. read more

The only thing I can give them credit for is a very well planned marketing campaign. I makes you want to shop there and to trust that they are going to have good products at good prices. This of course is not the reality, that I suppose is part of what marketing is all about. Two different visits, two different salesmen tried to sell us the same low rated, off-brand television. They were worse than used car salesman, and didn't listen at all to what we said we were looking for. On the 2nd visit when I giggled and told the kid that the other guy tried really hard to sell us that tv 2 days ago, he got mad and basically told me off. Great service! :P The tags next to the televisions are carefully set up to make sure that they don't show the same information, so you can't actually compare the features of one tv to that of another. So if you don't already know the exact model and specs that you are looking for, you could be lost forever in the swamp of misinformation. read more

I've been in here a few times and not once was I ever approached by a salesperson, although it should have been obvious I needed help. The store is so poorly laid out that surely they should have noticed me roaming the isles, craning my neck, looking high and low for the DVD players and home theater receivers. Their selection of which sucks, by the way. The last and final time I was in here I was looking at flat screen TV's, thinking at least that should be something they might be able to advise me on, or at least try sell me. After all, their name IS "Video Only". Once again, no help. Also, I don't know what their radio commercials are talking about, because their prices were average at best. A few days later I purchased a TV from the new Best Buy adjacent to this store and had a good experience. I can't wait for the day which will surely come when Best Buy runs Video Only out of business. read more

I never expected to end up at Video Only. I admit it: their ads make me think their only customers are Baby Boomers who don't know much about technology (no slam on Baby Boomers, by the way; I know tons of Y-ers who know nothing about technology). Also, I expected smarmy salespeople... something like a used car lot, only scarier. But when we needed to buy an audio receiver as a Christmas present, we discovered that no one in the city seemed to have what we needed. Costo is our usual electronics purveyor (hello, amazing return period!), but had nothing even remotely like what we needed. Best Buy was surprisingly helpful, but, again, they didn't have what we needed. So, off we went to Video Only, with great trepidation, anxiety, fear, terror, etc. I'm sure there are plenty more adjectives, but you get my drift. Luckily, the employee who approached us was both helpful and non-smarmy, and, even more amazingly, he had the perfect item in stock. And, best of all, the receiver was open box, so there was a serious discount. Woo hoo! Also, he kindly downloaded all the updates, which was truly above-and-beyond. I was very, very impressed. read more

Go see Wade or Orlando! We have bought every TV from them over the last 15 years, and most recently a new Yamaha receiver. No need to haggle, the prices are already negotiated! Bought the extra protection, thankfully, when we had to use it on our older plasma, they sent the nicest guy out to our home to repair it, and he even showed me how to fix it should the problem arise again. Easy! They won't pressure you for the warranty, but it is well worth the money, as the repair would have cost nearly the price of the TV. Ask for Wade or Orlando! They will take excellent care of you. read more

I have been searching for the right TV for a while, and have not had success because I haven't had anyone really guide me on what I need, don't need and what's important. BestBuy, Target, Fry's Electronics all avoided me like the plague and didn't assist in my hunt. My experience at Video Only though was informative, easy to understand and honest. We totally enjoyed the experience, and the simplicity of what they offer. Thanks for the new LG 51" beauty. read more

Went to video only to replace the kids tv. Nando greeted me at the front door. Told him I was looking for a 32" tv, he showed me the selection. Gave me a good description of each tv and gave me some time to check them out. He came back and I had a few questions, he was very helpful. Picked the tv I wanted and he went back and got it for me. Nando was super helpful and I will be a returning customer. read more

After a disappointing visit to Best Buy we went across the lot to video only. Jeff immediately greeted us and helped us to understand the options of the range of TVs we were interested in. He gave us enough space to feel comfortable to wander around and think about what we'd like to do but was intuitive enough to check in when we had additional questions. We are very happy with our purchase and would recommend Jeff and Video Only to anyone in the market for a new TV. read more

I had a great experience buying a new tv here. I got a killer deal on it, they really did live up to their "buy here or you'll be sorry" ad hype. Here's the secret, you have to haggle a little bit. I will not even pretend like I am a haggler in any way, shape, or form but the staff I had met me where I told him I could go, gave me options, didn't try to shove me into something I didn't want, was pleasant, and was readily available without being all up in my grill. The only reason they lost the 5th star was that the tv I bought was not in stock at the Hayden location and I had to drive to Beaverton to pick it up that day. In a way my fault for needing instant gratification, but I hate driving my truck out to the 'Tron unless I am heading for the coast range. Tiny violins Forest, I digress.. Overall I recommend them and if I ever decide to buy any of the products that they sell, I will go there again. read more

I've purchased a couple of TV's here over the years with great results. They will price match competitors even though their prices are already reasonable. I purchased an LG TV recently and wasn't happy with its black uniformity so I returned it (they have a 30 return policy) and they gladly swapped it out for another one that works perfectly. I've nothing against big box stores like Best Buy but I prefer smaller specialized places and Video Only fits the bill. read more

My husband was blessed (cursed?) with being born ON Christmas Day. Poor guy has never had a birthday without everyone else around him fawning over their own Christmas presents. He doesn't ask for much, but *REALLY* wanted a new 4K TV for his birthday this year. If you ask me, our current TV is just fine, but it was his one want this year. I relented - OK, lets check them out. Jacob made our TV-buying experience completely hassle-free and offered great advice and comparisons between the various brands. My wife was shopping next door so I thought I'd browse around to compare prices with Best Buy. Upon entering, I was Immediately bombarded by a salesman who broke free from the "pack" of sales reps hanging out near the front door. Since we were considering purchasing a TV and sound bar, I went to take a picture of one of their products to send to my Wife. The salesman that had been trying his best to sell me everything in the store, told me to put my phone away... stating; "I can't allow you to do that!" In which I replied; "Are you serious?" He finished with; "Yes, put your phone away!" At which point, I marched out of the store. You lost a sale due to your extremely poor customer service! I recommend anyone shop for their entertainment needs elsewhere! read more

All started out well on my trip to this store. The sales person was knowledgeable about the products (more so, then the big electronic store across the parking lot). I was looking for a new HDTV and Blu-ray system. After making a decision, we went to the register to pay, and this is where the trouble began. After paying for the items and getting a receipt, the salesperson ran off to grab my new items, when he returned he had the TV, but no Blu-ray. He said that the Blu-ray was out of stock, but they should be in on the next truck (a few days) and he would call me. I figured, no big deal, wasn't going to be able to install it for a few days anyway. 12 days later, with no call from the store, I call them to see what the status of my order was. The salesperson who answered the phone, said that they were not in yet, but that THEY would call me in it was. I got the impression from the salesperson that I was interrupting something or that he couldn't believe that he had to check on an order. I wait a few days, and then decide to stop by. I am told that they have no Blu-ray players in-stock and that it is due to the Consumer Electronic Show, and that I would be lucky to find one anywhere now. I decide to take my chances and ask for them to refund me for the item that I never received. Again we go to the register, but instead of processing my card as a refund through their credit card machine, they pull out the old school card swiper and imprint some carbon copies. I asked why not push the refund button on the credit card machine, and I am told that they have to do it this way, because they need to send it off to their corporate office. Then they tell me it will take up to 15 DAYS to get my refund (funny that they got my money the next day, but now I have to wait 2 weeks to get it back). 18 days later...still no refund on my account, I call again. They say they need to fax a form to their corporate office to find out what is going on with it, they take only my name and hang up. For a store that is supposed to sell the latest electronic equipment, their corporate office appears to be stuck in 1985 (faxes, carbon copies?) As of this review, I am still waiting for my $400 refund. I did however, walk across the parking lot to BB and was able to purchase the exact same Blu-ray system (they had stacks of them on the sales floor) for $50 less then their Don't be Sorry Prices. read more

Run from Video Only. Unfair, deceptive practices make this store a non-option. I purchased a 42-inch TV and wall mount plus an extra wall mount for my bedroom. I paid cash. The extra wall mount did not fit my TV and after waiting a week for new units to be re-stocked, I asked for a refund. They told me I had to I had to have a check mailed back to me. Funny? Nothing was posted about no cash refunds (the attorney general will also receive a complaint). Strange? I did not get to mail in a check to receive the product I purchased (so, what works for them is not extended to me.) Wade Forner, Area Manager, for Video Only has not yet replied. This is the very worst kind of customer service. I will NEVER shop here and implore you to spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere. read more

Just left video only and never going back. I bought a brand new 4K TV and have literally watched it about 8 hours, as it sits in my basement, and now I have a big black bar running down the middle that I can't get rid of. The TV is brand new and the only thing they can do is have a service tech come out and try to fix it. BEWARE OF THE RETURN POLICY - Because it was over 30 days after I bought it, they will not return it. I should have bought from Best Buy, as Best Buy will usually return things even over 30 days, but at least if Best Buy will not return it, they will give you in-store credit to buy other things like Christmas gifts or a computer. The sales guys at video only didn't seem to give a rip now that the sale was done. Seems like one TV was not worth losing a lifetime of future business. read more

Went to buy a new tv and audio reciever while deciding which one to buy the salesman states that he would throw in a extended waranty at no cost with the purchase of the samsung. He then proceeds to tell us that if we find a lower price they will match it. Long story short the next day we found the same tv for less same with the audio reciever, and we go in to get it price matched and they wouldnt so when we returned all the items they pointed out we were charged for the waranty and would give it to us for free to cover the difference WTF it was already sapose to part of the deal what a bunch of crooks. I didn't intend to go to Video Only (we were on our way to Best Buy), but after my experience, they'll have a customer for life. It was a fast easy process with a knowledgeable sales associate who was willing to give us some price breaks and they'll even recycle your old TV for you! I had some problems setting up my new TV and sound system and had called Geek Squad, but they couldn't even come to my house for another 2 weeks! So I called Video Only back to see if they had support and the sales associate guided me on the phone through troubleshooting my set up and had me up and running. (Thanks Orlando!) That saved me $179 I would have spent on Geek Squad. I wish I would have gotten our sales associate's name but I guess it was such a fast process I missed it. Thanks guys! read more

Just purchased a new receiver here. I had been shopping around quite a bit online and went to Best Buy to shop. The service at BB was almost non-existant.
