We have been patients of Dr. Cody and Dr. Maria for a month now and could not be happier with the…read moreoffice, the doctors and the staff. Everyone has gone above and beyond to accommodate my son's particular health needs and prioritize his care. They work with us to schedule appointment times that work for us and we have barely ever had to wait more than ten minutes (we are usually seen right away) at the most to be seen. The office is very organized and runs smoothly. While we are still hoping to see much more positive results from my son's care at their office, he already seems to be sleeping better which is a big deal for us considering he's been having a flair up from his medical condition for a couple months now and it's made many things very difficult from him and for us. This is a bright light in the right direction for him. For myself, I became a patient not long after we started my son. I have been living with debilitating headaches and neck pain multiple times a week sometimes daily. My previous chiropractor and other doctors and therapists have not been able to touch my pain. Since I started my appointments three weeks ago I have seen a decrease in the severity of my head and neck pain as well as a decrease in frequency. I have not had to resort to pain medication in the three weeks since I started and that says a lot. I also wanted to say how proactive the doctors and their staff are about your care and actually helping you to feel better. As part of their program they send you home with a home kit of all kinds of equipment to use to help your pain and help resolve your individual issues. They show you exactly how to use everything and also have you do some of these exercises when you come into the office. I have been to other chiropractors and have never seen this level of support and care. Last but certainly not least, I wanted to talk about the energy in this office and from the staff and doctors. The office is clean and bright but not overwhelming. This is so important for kids on the spectrum and with sensory processing issues. The staff, Dani, Keyri, and Genesis and both doctors, Dr. Maria and Dr. Cody, have a calming, quiet, patient energy about them. They are amazing with my son and have been so understanding to his needs. As someone who struggles with PTSD and trauma and a son who is easily overwhelmed but people and his environment, I can't tell you how much this means to us. I have felt so cared for and safe in this office and it sets the bar for knowing that these kinds of physicians still truly exist. As an adult with many complex medical needs and a child with the same, I have always felt like we are treated like a burden to many health care providers (or people in general) and it is such a blessing to be treated with kindness, respect and compassion from the very beginning. I am truly grateful to everyone at Alive and Free Chiropractic for everything they have done so far to make our experience with them a wonderful one and I'm looking forward to continuing our care and bettering our health as time goes on.

Andrea was a pleasure to talk to and made finding an appointment a breeze, even with short notice when my injury would flare up. My initial evaluation was completed by Angel, who demonstrated exquisite knowledge through his treatment strategies. As my treatment progressed, my pain decreased and daily movements were no longer as daunting/painful. Towards the tail-end of my treatment, I received therapy from Maria, who challenged my mobility and helped me get back in the gym with less pain. She gave me great strategies to use at home, which further helped my healing process. Overall, Martinez Physical Therapy became more than just a place to receive PT, but a place I looked forward to where my physical therapists became friends and exchanged many hilarious laughs throughout my healing process. I look forward to upcoming Recovery Sessions for post work-out treatments and sharing more laughs with the team.

Being…read moreactive, thankfully, those appointments have been only sports injury related such as a tennis elbow from some weight lifting mishap. Thus I found my way to OrthoNow. I picked the Doral location because it's close to work. Having recently started at a new position and being in my probationary period, I had to deal with a super basic insurance before my employer's policy kicks in. Karla, the office manager, was really helpful in calling and dealing with the company thus saving me that "headache". After previous home & alternative remedies weren't working, I called this office. It's located in a Doral office building and next to another orthopedic practice. From what I understand, the other office is OrthoNow's "home base" where I would go if my condition doesn't ger better. It's also where OrthoNow does their imaging. When I visited, Melissa who does double duty as an xray tech & medical assistant, took my vitals and took me downstairs for xrays. After the x-rays, I was checked out by William the nurse practitioner, who reviewed and said that basically I have tennis elbow, so I have to take it easy for at least a little bit on the weights.
