I was first very impressed by the diversity of the parishioners. Next, I was impressed with the diversity included in the presentation. I have been attending churches for over 20 years and this is the first diverse church I have been to, so many are like "you need to look like us" "run in our circles" and "have the money and community standing like us"; NONE of that was at Victory Church! Okay, so I've visited this church in my early 20s (I'm 30 now) because my best friend got saved here. I grew up in church my whole life. I even used to be a youth pastor for almost 4 years. The reason I'm leaving a 2 star review is because for my profession and I would even say calling on my life, I'm a Fitness Trainer with Camp Gladiator. A week ago I reached out to Victory Church, being it a large church, to see if they'd be able to help me out by renting indoor space from them. I know they have the space. Our mission with Camp Gladiator is to impact the physical fitness and ultimately the lives of as many people as possible. That's very similar to most Christian churches. Well, Victory Church denied me indoor space without even listening to what we do since I don't go to their church. The reason I asked this church is because I teach outdoor camp literally minutes from them. I thought it would be a great spot that would also bring health and fitness motivation to their congregation. Well, just today on 10/30/18 I stopped by. I was like, well they denied me space, but I'd still love to share a promo with them to give all their staff and church members the rest of this year free if they commit to their health in 2019. I walked up to the church building and a lady was walking in. I asked her if this was the correct entrance and she looked at me and just kept walking. I come up to the door and I press the call box. I introduced myself and said I'd like to share with them this deal. She said, "you have to make an appointment. I respond, "an appointment to leave a flier." She responds, "just leave the flier on the mailbox with a rock or something." I told her it was wet because it's clearly raining and gonna snow tonight. I just told her never mind, thanks. That all said, for a mega Christian Church, I wish you would have more awareness on how to be more welcoming. Twice, you have shut me out without even looking at me face to face. I attended this Victory Church in Westminster, CO for over 20 years (1994- 2015) I have never seen anyone rolling on the floor and I never met Bruce, subjects that have been mentioned in the previous posts. I moved to AZ or I would still attend Victory. Maybe they are confusing other Victory Churches...there are many. read more

Victory Church is AWESOME!! We moved to Colorado from St. Louis, Mo and visited 13 church's in the Metro area within 4 months, YIKES!! Well, the Lord kept having us to revisit Victory Church. When we walked in the church, you feel the Lord's Love and the Holy Spirit immediately! Victory church is diverse, and the people were so warm and inviting. We love the flow of the ministry, and the worship music is AWESOME!! The sermon each week preached by Pastor Matt Ware reaches the soul and heart. The word is powerful and Spirit filled. We never leave out empty. We love all of the Pastors, staff, volunteers, and our new family in Christ! You will not be disappointed when you visit Victory Church! read more

It depends on the kind of church you are looking for.....The music was nice and the Pastor gave a good message but there were several people yelling out stuff constantly that really spoiled it. A woman who sat in the front row never shut-up, talking over the Pastor and really took away from the Pastor's sermon she even rolled around on the floor in front of the stage. I felt like she was putting on a show and it really was disturbing. Just my opinion. read more

I love this church! Everyone his supportive and caring. Pastor Matt does a excellent sermon every time. I drive 45 minutes to attend Victory church. They have an excellent youth program. My son has fun will he is Worshiping the Lord. They have multiple grow groups that are great as well. I will suggest this church to anyone read more

Seriously amazing experience!!! I went while visiting my Daughter for a Month and I was just blown away by the message of ALL of the pastors. I LOVE to sing so the worship team was well rehearsed and on point. I cried at every single service. You just FEEL so much love in this church and even though I'm not from the area I felt instantly welcome. Purely amazing. read more

I visited Victory Church with my daughter, grandson and some friends this past Sunday. My grandson received severe scratches all over his face by another child in the 1 year old room. Scratches were deep and produced blood. There was even blood on his shirt and the carer attested to having had to clean up the blood off of his face. In count there are about 20 scratches ranging from .5 inches to 2 inches long. The severity of the injury and the alarming nature of the church's response has Department of Social Services now investigating this matter. Upon seeing my grandson's face I asked to speak with a Child care department director, and the parents of the girl that had caused the deep scratches. At that point Steven Bowen came by. I asked him to put me in touch with the parents of the girl who had caused the scratches. He resorted to saying that there was already an incident report done on his part and that a meeting wasn't necessary and that he would handle it. Not explaining any further as to what exactly 'handling it' entails. There is reason to think this class was under-staffed. Mr. Bowen said said that there were seven children and that the ratio is 8 children to 1, proudly exclaiming he is within state ratio and that the church even has a Montessori program during the week. Reality is that these toddlers were being cared for by a 17 year and the class was understaffed. He was not aware that the state of Colorado's ratio for TODDLERS is 1: 5! This is a RATIO-VIOLATION and the severity of the scratches on my grandson's face and the different directions they are in show that the culprit had time to swat at my grandson several times. This is NEGLECT. He was not cared for PROPERLY. Mr. Bowen was moreso concerned about me causing a scene proceeded to tell me he has to go to a meeting and needed to leave. But we observed him merely talking to another person outside of the church. He didn't offer any means of closure for us. He merely handed my daughter a cd of the church service and even proceeded to say that this type of stuff happens saying he has a 21 month old child, so as to say he knows what he is talking about. How irrelevant and how insensitive of him! Needless to say we left the church crying, disappointed and reeling for answers. I would not recommend this church due to the ratio violations and inefficiencies within the children's / toddler area AND due to the unprofessional conduct of Children's Ministry Director Steven Bowen. He was more concerned about me being upset and causing a scene than properly addressing the issue at hand, much less showing genuine concern/empathy about my grandson's horrible injuries.
