They charged me $30 to look at t and provided an a free vehicle look over on other things. They let me know that it was indeed leaking and found an additional leak. They sent me a quote and I was flabbergasted at the price. The first original leak repair was quoted for $2,700. They did find another leak that would cost me an additional $1500 to repair . Way more than I was planning. I talked to a gearhead at my work and he said absolutely do not pay that. He said they do this to women, unfortunately. I talked to two other local shops who quoted me for everything on the original repair for $800 and $1100. Those quotes were for everything 17th Street was going to do for $2,700. I hate that companies do this. The icing on the cake was that when I drove my car home, I popped the hood and they didn't even attach the cover to the motor. It was just laying cockeyed on the top. It makes me question what else they didn't reinstall after looking over my car.

I was recommended to go to Meineke for a car repair after checking the code for my check engine…read morelight from Auto Zone. After calling Meineke and scheduling an appointment, I was surprised to learn that they have a drop off option so I was able to drop my car off the night before my appointment to ensure it was there for my early appointment the next day. The associate working on my car was very informative and sent me updates as often as possible. What I truly loved about Meineke is that they not only sent pictures but also videos of what they were performing under my hood to try and discover the issue with my check engine light so that I had full access to what they were working on. I'd never received that level of detail before from any other mechanic business. What surprised me most was once they were done checking my car, they realized that the part that was causing the issue was a new part and encouraged me to take it back to the dealership (who put in the part) for them to look it over and fix. The associate even informed me that the dealership could contact them if they had any questions. Meineke could have easily fixed it and took my money but they preferred I take it back to the dealership since that part should still be covered under warranty! Talk about exceptional customer service! Thank you for a great first time experience, Meineke, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Told that 2 cars in the bay are waiting on parts. Not sure what that has to do with anything. More then likely car will not get looked at for any diagnosis untill Monday. We could be using a 3rd party warranty service which seems to take a while, understandable. It seems like they did not even want to look at the car because of this today. The 3rd party warranty could pay for the job to be fixed not diagnose. Very disappointing in this place and the situation.
