TLDR: Best boxing gym. Great coaches. Excellent culture…read more This is hands down the best boxing gym I have ever partaken. It makes a huge difference when the head coach (Tiko) is kinesiology educated and brings real science to everyday training. Coach George and Tiko drive positive gym culture by leading by example. Everyone who steps into Thruline is met with an intense training atmosphere, but always a warm welcome. However, it's not just the coaches. The students are a massive part of making day-to-day training worthwhile (and safe). My first day here, one of the gym's fighters took time out of his own training schedule to ensure I was getting the basics down. Positive gym culture starts at the top and it is well demonstrated at Thruline. Whether you're a fighter looking to enter the ring, someone trying something new for the first time, a martial arts hobbyist looking to add some boxing to your skill set (like me), or just looking to introduce your kids to an amazing sport... this is the gym for you. Additionally, the membership provides other unique benefits and access to amenities. For some, the amenities alone may be worth the membership. I highly recommend, especially as this review arrives at the heels of the gym's relocation/expansion.

They are absolutely in tune with every student and truly uphold the standards of consistency, discipline and technique. Doesn't matter what type of experience you have or if you are truly new to the art of fighting/boxing. You walk out of THRULINE gym a better fighter. The sparring sessions are fun and engaging, the conditioning days are brutal but rewarding and the private lessons with head coach Tiko, truly motivates you to continue sharpening your skills, while unlocking abilities you didn't think you had. I'm still in the beginning of my boxing journey and although I started late in life, I have no doubt that THRULINE will bring out all the potential, talent and confidence I have stored. Again, I want to emphasize. The coaches here are amazing. They are Confident, knowledgeable, and most importantly patient. They will not give up on you, even if for a brief second you doubt your capabilities.

Coach Tony is grrrreat! ;)…read more I've been going to Coach Tony's boxing classes once a week for the first 2 months, and now going 2x/week. Even going only once a week, I saw strength and endurance improvements during the 4th class. His classes are fun and it's set up so that he can give you one-on-one guidance in the ring, even if you have zero experience (like me). He'll train you at your pace to learn more combos and moves with each class. The entire class itself is a great workout with practice in the ring and bags, and floor/circuit training with varying exercises using weights, TRX, battle ropes, kettle-bells, medicine balls, etc. Members/students are also wonderful people as we encourage each other to keep going. Definitely give it a try. First class is FREE!

I received two calls this morning after submitting an inquiry. I didn't answer because my kids were still sleeping, and I didn't want to wake them. I assumed whoever was calling would simply leave a voicemail, and I planned to return the call when I was available. Instead, I received a text from John calling me a "bum" for not answering the phone. I find that incredibly inappropriate and unprofessional, especially when speaking to a potential customer who simply didn't answer a couple of phone calls. I've dealt with several gyms before and have never experienced this kind of communication from someone representing a business.
