So, I walked into this shop and politely greeted the lady at the cashier. She was just giving me a dirty look and asked for my ID. I said okay, gave my driver's license, and she told me that she couldn't accept it. I asked her why, and she told me it could be fake. I said okay, well I have my health card. She told me no again. She said that no establishment accepts health cards as ID, which is completely false given my career. That's 2 valid pieces of ID. I then told her that okay, well if she doesn't accept those, I have a picture of my passport on my phone. She tells me she will not look at it or accept it. I asked her why, and she said I look too young and I had too many pieces of ID and now it's suspicious. What? Now also keep in mind; I'm 27 years old. She's denying the evidence in the 2 ID's I presented, and also my passport on my phone. I even offered to verify the accuracy with my Bank statements and pictures. She still told me no. She said I look too young. She didn't even want to look at my other forms of proof. You're legally allowed to deny service, but the fact that she's blaming it on the fact that I look young when I have so many forms of ID that prove otherwise, is really unprofessional. And I see other reviews that mention the same problem. I contacted customer service after and I told them the entire story. They got back to me in a week, and I was offered a gift card in exchange for my troubles. I accepted it, and they told me they would get back to me the next day on how to process it. It was a fake promise. They never got back to me. I didn't get a single thing after all that trouble. Disappointing. EDIT: Customer service has gotten back to me and officially gave me reimbursement for my troubles. I came back to the same shop and the same lady was super friendly and fun this time. She's also really knowledgeable about the toys there, give me plenty of suggestions and recommendations. I was pleasantly surprised. I'm still going to leave my story here because it was an annoying experience, but I'm thankful for their understanding.

The manager Gillian was rude and disrespectful and probably one of the meanest people i have ever met. Then the new manager fired me after my second shift working (still in training), they gave me no explanation, because if i knew an explanation i would want to change and do better for myself. Then the training manager and the new manager were staring at me and pointing at me while I was working. I have never felt so uncomfortable and horrible about my self then ever being in that store. I would advise you to not apply at the promenade location. The merchandise is well made and beautiful, go ahead and shop just be careful.
