When we asked questions, we were treated with such arrogance and condescension that I couldn't believe we were dealing with a "local company" who we found out by the way is owned by some woman in CALIFORNIA. Then again, it is Bozangeles. I wonder if the owners actually know how horrible their employees treat customers, and I also wonder if they realize or care that families that go back seven generations know hundreds of other families that will now get the full picture of what this store is and who they have working for them. We have contacted the actual designer and let them know about our experience and how their product line is being represented in Bozeman Montana.

After starting my search for a dress to wear to an up and coming wedding i was already in a very frustrated mood. When i entered Maurices i was greeted by Jacqui. I figured i would let her do her job, but knowing she was not going to be able to help me. She set me up in a room and proceeded to pick up items she though would look good on me. I wondered and found two tops (not wedding appropriate). When i got to my changing room Jacqui had found me not one but 7 complete outfit choices. Needless to say by the end i was feeling a lot better. I walked out with two dress, one cardigan, and a nice pair of slacks. Jacqui made my day and has made me a Maurices shopper for life.

Katalin at Poppy Bride brings the newest trends in bridal to our little town…read more Poppy Bride is a one-stop shop where you can get your tux, dress, accessories, and flowers! In her gorgeous studio you will find the most amazing designer wedding dresses, jewelry, head pieces, etc. My personal experience was wonderful! Katalin styled both me and my father and made my bouquet. My dress was from Tiadora bridal and it fit like a glove. It was so classy with lace and a long row of buttons, the back....oh my! (See photos). Katalin sewed up my bustle so it hung beautifully in photos and made for easy walking. My dad who hadn't worn a suit since his own wedding (35 years ago) looked like he just stepped off the pages of GQ magazine. Katalin is an out-of-the-box thinker and will bring her creative touch to your special day. For example, she did an on-the-spot boutineer made out of the native plants of AZ where we were married. Katalin drummed up a local musician to play the coolest slide guitar music as we walked down the isle. My bouquet was gorgeous, made of forget-me-nots and other blue and white flowers and a touch of Italian silk ribbon flowing in the breeze. I can't say enough about how our special day was made so wonderful by the inclusion of Katalin Green of Poppy Bride. You will not be disappointed. Katalin truly goes above and beyond for her clients as was the only person I wanted in my corner for such a monumentous occasion.

Katalin isn't operating a "normal" dress shop, her approach is to learn more about you and style you with options that will celebrate your vision and your body's beauty. The boutique is intimate and stocked with unique and well-designed dresses that will stay in your dreams until your big day. She has a unique eye for quality and craftsmanship. Poppy was my first stop in looking for dresses, and admittedly I went to other shops, even as far as Atlanta on a work trip, and can tell you her finds are special --and NOT overpriced. Even in looking at high-end designers, the sewing and details of her selection were unmatched. I dreamt about TWO of the dresses I found there for way too long before heading back. Katalin had me try both on again, and when I told her I found my "yes but" (it was to add a slit!), we discussed a custom alteration that made all my dreams come true!! After my big day, I hope to add some photos so you can see for yourself. Thanks Poppy Bride for all your help along the way!
