This provocative and unwelcoming sign is what greeted me as I walked in the door of Victoria Station today. Noticing I was wearing a mask, one of the sales women deliberately tried to provoke me by randomly saying she was wearing a red, white and blue top she was planning on wearing to an upcoming event. "There's an air show here this Sat.," she said, "and it's coming with a replica of the Vietnam War Memorial. I hear Black Lives Matter is coming to protest," she claimed, without citing her source of information. "Don't they have anything better to do?" Wow. All I came in for was a throw pillow. This same woman has a sticker on her car from the radical conspiracy group QAnon. She was waiting to see if I would respond, so she could ratchet up the provocation. I said nothing, bc ignorance at that level isn't worth a response. But the joke's on her. I came in for an oil painting and a pricey pillow ($200 total) for my new condo (which will surely need more stuff). I left and drove straight to Art on the Lake and bought a painting there.
