I had a nice photo that was taken of them many years ago, and Debi truly brought it to life. I couldn't believe how realistic the portraits were when she was done. It captured them so well, and was more life-like than the original photo. It's so nicely detailed, with a sparkle in their eyes - I absolutely love it. We talked about it a bit and he asked us what we liked about it. He pulled out some photos that inspired the original painting and he said that he could make anouther one like it. Two weeks later he called us and actually made two similar ones. We got to pick the one we liked better and he kept the other one. He also does comissions. Hard for me as a non-artist to describe his work. Basically oil paintings..with SF themes (trolleys, bay area views, gg bridge, down-town buildings, Alcatraz, etc).
