Catapult is a 40,000 square foot building with several toilets, a professional Kitchen and many sinks... Stuart's has unclogged toilets, replaced toilets, remedied leaks here at Catapult. Recently we had a leak on the 2nd floor which was leaking into the 1st floor. Stuart's came out immediately and remedied the situation. They are professional, kind and reasonably priced. Pretty disappointed by our experience with Stuart's. We called for a toilet that won't flush…read moreappropriately. The plumber augered the toilet to clear the material in the bowl but failed to diagnose the root cause of the problem. The toilet will not flush appropriately and the plumber stated that the toilet was 10-15 years old and would need to be replaced. The flushing mechanism in his opinion had been updated and he couldn't get replacement parts for it. However the toilet was made in 2018. "All" toilets have a date stamp for their manufacture and our toilet was not an exception. With that, there is a sticker on the lid with all the replacement part information. If the plumber had spent some actual time diagnosing the problem they may have noticed that the gurgling is a symptom of a clogged vent pipe. We also had an issue last minute where our not in service sprinkler system had failed and was running constantly. When we moved in the previous owner had removed the timer and sprinkler control box leaving the sprinkler heads and control valves. For some reason one of the zones control valves failed open. The plumber did not try to diagnose the problem and instead tried to tell my girlfriend that the timer must have failed and would be in the garage somewhere. Luckily our lawn guy was able to send a irrigation person to find the control valve and shut it manually. Unfortunately I was at work and not able to help give direction but why should a paid professional need to be coached through troubleshooting their specialty.

House fixing adventure!!!…read more Had a leak needed a plumber found DDS on... Of course YELP!!! Jesus was very responsive and even had a phone conversation with me to explain the pricing. Pricing was very fair!!! Jesus found I have a leak in my slab and he was very honest. He quoted me our piping was very old and he could fix the leak in the slab for 800$. He then informed me that if he fixed the leak it may not just be this time. He said I could end up with a leak somewhere else and then I'd pay another 800-1k to fix a second leak. He then suggested doing a repipe. I thought here we go, but then Jesus said he doesn't do tripping, but if it were his house he would put the band aid $ towards the repipe. He even made calls to try to get me set up with his old company, but the person he called no longer worked for the company. I told him it was ok and thank you for trying. He charged 285$ for the service and high tech listening equipment. Which I felt was a fair price. I have gone with re-piping my house with repipe specialists. I will review them as well. Fortunately, They give a 25yr warranty of the piping and lifetime workmanship. Unfortunately, I will not have the need for Jesus' services anymore b/c of the warranty, but you should def call him if you are in need of an honest caring plumber. As always we never want to deal with these home challenges, but if you end up needing a plumber... CONTACT JESUS ON YELP!!!

But when shutting off the water valves, the cold water started spraying out all over the place. I knew I didn't want to replace the whole valve, but I didn't have an inventory of internal parts. Tech came out, looked around and said he thought I had a pipe leaking in the foundation and asked if he could cut a small hole to see, and I agreed. The small hole turned into him pulling drywall off and then told me he had no idea what was wrong. He said he was charging me a trip charge since he really didn't do much and I was fine with that. he went to write up the paperwork and said the office said he had to charge me for an hr of labor which was $185.00 for the 39 minutes he was here and I had to pay for his travel time to my house!!! WHAT!!! I paid the bill and called the office. I asked who was going to pay for the damage he did to my wall, no answer. I asked why I was paying for his travel to come to my house from the office, (I was his 1st job), no answer. I was told I had to wait for someone in the office to call me. About 30 minutes later I received a call and explained this situation to be told, they'd refund me money. I didn't mind paying the trip charge like I was told but I did mind paying for 30 minutes of travel he was claiming, again I was told I would be refunded. So I am waiting for a refund!
