Worst experience ever! Professionalism 0/10…read moreResponsiveness 0/10 Value 1/10 Ricky (Alias Rick) Thompson has the absolute worst attitude. Anything you want to discuss with him and he'll respond in a rude manner and tell you that you're giving him a headache. Will have to run through his middleman, Angel. So many obstacles with these people. 1. It took over a month to get the permit for a new septic tank+ drain field. during this time I had to keep reminding them and even had to reach out to the health department when they stopped answering my calls/text. The health department sent me my permit bc after all the permit belongs to the property owner. 2. Then, they wanted to increase the price on a dosing tank and filter by several GRAND. But I had the receipt/invoice to refute this nonsense. 3 . They also wanted to charge me everything upfront but I refused to pay the remaining balance until everything was on the ground. By this time it was over 2 months since their initial appearance and a 9K deposit. 4. They constantly made up dates on when they would show up and get the job done. They seemingly had car troubles but couldn't answer phone calls. I was no longer surprised by their BS and just wanted them to finish the job at this point. 5. When everything was in the ground, they made up another story that the inspection would happen right away and then they would close up. In reality it took another TWO weeks. I had to find the inspectors phone number, who was kind enough to inform me of the situation. We both had to wait until they returned from vacation so they could close up. By this time neighbors were complaining of the smell and I had to contact the health department again. It's been a month and everything seems too be working but the journey actually cause me many headaches. In sum, I'm sure this job would have never been finished if I had not been proactive. Needlessly, they made up so many excuses when they answered my calls. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

About 1 hour later he showed up and pumped tank down and examined my tank and determined the field line had failed, quoted me a excellent price and i told him to do it. I highly recomend him for your septic needs.

I'm just going to echo the mostly bad reviews of this company. It started out okay. I spoke with…read morethe owner, Ricky Thompson, Jr. over the phone and he continued to remark on how they only hire respectable people and kept reiterating it throughout the phone call (a little odd, if you are trustworthy, you usually don't have to keep repeating it) Angel, came out later the same day and what was an estimated $900 or something over the phone to clean out and abandon a small septic tank turned into over $3000 estimate with a "free" pump out. I wasn't thinking clearly, should have taken a pause and gotten a few other bids, but I live in a rural area and it's sometimes hard to get good people out here. I wrote a check out for the deposit adn made a mistake and wrote the check for the full amount of the job. That was my mistake and I called Ricky later to let him know what had happened and that I had written a check from a bank account that I was closing later this month so I knew the check was not going to clear for the full amount. My plan was to close out the account with this check and then write a check when the job was done from my new account. He encouraged me to just transfer money into my old account so the check would clear but I would have rather just written a new check but they had already mobile deposited my check. This was the same day when I realized what happened. Anyways I was going to do that and proceed but something about it just didn't sit right with me. The next day I sent an email stating that I was having second thoughts and did not want to proceed with the job. By then I had read alot of really bad reviews, not just a few and it they all seeme like truthful people taking the time to warn others. I looked up permitting for abandoning the tank and it's a $50 charge but he just says it's a free pump out and then charges you $690 for the permit. Just please itemize everything for customers, the bait and switch is such an old game. He said that Angel had been out to do the pump out and I questioned it because I never received photos or notice from Angel that he was coming on the property to do the work. Later after I questioned Ricky on the price and how quickly he was about to obtain a permit over Veteran's Day weekend (a document I have never seen) to do the job so fast, he did send me photos of the pump out. He was immediately defensive, send me a threatening text saying his lawyer would be in touch with me and that this was the third customer who he had to put a lien on their property (is that a you problem, Ricky?) I agreed to pay the cost of the pump out and my bounced check for $435 which is probably a rip off but I am honest and pay for work that gets done. He is a gaslighter, defensive and not a good business person. When you have this many bad reviews that are consisently sending the same message, the problem is not your customers. It may well have been the exact price from another company but the experience of working with this person was not positive. I would just find someone else. Beware of people that can take care of you so quickly and get permitting done in hours and days not weeks. It taught me a lesson which I already knew. Get 3 bids at least or look at reviews first. That's on me. Maybe they will try and get better.

By 9:30, I called them to check on the status of the service. A young man answered and said he would contact the driver and call me back. A few minutes later, he called to inform me that the driver was waiting on a part to fix the pump system on the truck, and the new estimated arrival time would be around 12:30. At 1:23, I still had not heard from the driver, so I called again and went straight to voicemail. I sent a text since the voicemail indicated that texting was an option, but I received no reply. When I called again at 1:30, my calls continued to go to voicemail. I decided to call from my work number, and they answered on the first ring. The young man again stated that the driver had informed him an hour earlier that he was on his way. I asked him to please verify the situation and call me back with an update. He assured me it would only take two minutes. Ten minutes passed, and there was still no callback. My son then called, and, once again, the young man answered immediately. He informed my son that the driver, who is also the owner, was essentially MIA and not answering his phone. By 3:15 PM, both my son's phone and mine, along with my work number, were going straight to voicemail. Needless to say, I do NOT recommend this company! I am extremely frustrated with the entire situation. They could have easily called me this morning to inform me of the issue and asked to reschedule, but instead, I was left to navigate this on my own.

They agreed to it. A young man came out probed the perimeter of the tank. They brought their equipment. Dug up the lid, it broke up a bit. That's ok we are getting a new one that's what they are here for . They didn't ask where we wanted the old lid pieces at, so he decided for us. There isn't enough dirt to level out the ground area over the tank. So he says it's done. A very low spot in the yard. A mound of concrete only twenty feet away. So I asked the man in charge sitting on the excavator if they can move it over to another spot out of the way, or remove it? He said for $250 more dollars. He put at least 3/4 tons of broken big chunks of concrete. Now because of the ground being so low on the property all the water has accumulated over the now full septic tank. We never had problems like this before. Still trying to find a way to move the concrete out of the way. What a mess a very poor showing from not even a second rate business.

This caused the alarm box to get corroded due to the moisture & vapors from the septic tank. Followed proper procedure & called the builders warranty dept, we were advised 1 yr warranty, hence repair was on us. At that point we decided not to call the installer (Bingham) due to their install only lasted 1.5 years. When our septic contractor showed us the lack of electrical putty in the conduit caused the alarm box to fail, it was too late to call Bingham due to us already paying a service charge visit. After the rework was completed I called Bingham and they refused to help due to we did not call them first. They claimed that they would never forget to seal the conduit. I offered pictures before the new box install and have the original box. They were not interested in seeing either of them.
