I don't usually write reviews, but I felt like this one was worth taking the time for. I hired…read moreCarbon Law Group for a lease/business dispute that ended up turning into a full lawsuit, and looking back, I'm really glad I chose them. This whole thing dragged on for a while, and honestly it was one of the more stressful periods I've been through. There were a lot of moving parts, a lot of uncertainty, and plenty of moments where I didn't know what to expect next. But the team at Carbon Law was there through all of it. Pankaj in particular made a huge difference for me. He was patient, easy to reach, and never made me feel rushed when I had questions or just needed things explained again. More than anything, he helped me stay calm through a situation that could have easily overwhelmed me. That kind of steady support is hard to find, and it made a real difference in how I got through this. In the end, they negotiated a great settlement for me, and I walked away feeling like I actually had people in my corner the whole time, not just a law firm handling paperwork. If you're dealing with a stressful legal situation and want a team that will actually be there for you, I'd recommend Carbon Law Group without hesitation.

Dealing with insurance companies can be very stressful and frustrating. Even more so when you are…read morebadly injured, traumatized and trying to recover physically, emotionally and financially. This was my experience when my infant son and I were rear ended while fully stopped in traffic. The adjusters would not return my calls, often dismiss my concerns, discredit my pain levels (even though I had exams and notes from KAISER detailing my injuries), and even tried to place some of the blame on me for what their driver did. At that moment, I knew I would need an attorney to represent me. I contacted Jake's firm and from the very fist phone call with Jake and his team, I was heard and cared for. Nancy, my case manager, helped me get refunded for the total loss of my car and with all her hard work, experience and research, the insurance paid me above market value, which was a very welcoming surprise! She also kept me in the loop every step of the way and fought so hard to get me compensated for the most traumatizing experience of my life. And once again, the final amount I received was way beyond my expectations. Melissa was also another integral part of the process, as she assisted me with my medical treatment, helping me find the right doctors to treat my injuries and even scheduling my appointments. I will be forever grateful to Jake, Nancy, Melissa and their entire team. When this process started, I had a torn ACL, a concussion and memory loss, and now I can put this traumatizing experience behind, with a healed body and a generous settlement. I cannot think of a team with more expertise, transparency, and compassion for their clients. Thank you so much for everything, Finkel Firm! You guys are truly THE BEST!

I am extremely disappointed with how my case was handled and with the lack of communication I have…read morereceived afterward. My case involved approximately $3.3 million, yet my final payout was only around $3,000. I suffered serious injuries that resulted in back surgery and having a spinal cord stimulator implanted. Despite the seriousness of my injuries and my ongoing medical needs, I am left with major questions about how my settlement was handled and how the money was distributed. I also have concerns about my future medical care. My spinal cord stimulator will eventually require additional care, including battery replacement. I even lost the charger for my stimulator and requested another one, but I never received it. What has made this experience even more frustrating is that I have repeatedly requested my complete case file so I can have another attorney independently review everything. I have called multiple times, and the response I continue to receive is that someone will reach out to me. Yet I am still waiting for my file and for clear answers. After everything I went through physically, I should not have to repeatedly call just to obtain my own case documents and get answers about what happened with my settlement. Based on my personal experience, I am extremely dissatisfied with the communication, follow-through, and handling of my case. I simply want my complete case file so another attorney can review it and help me understand exactly what happened.

I was told I should call the Labor Board due to the law that my former employer was breaking. After showing Mr. Lee the evidence of my case, he said that I had a very good chance to win my case. He never made promises he couldn't keep and kept my expectations realistic. After going to court he actually won a very substantial amount of money for me. He walked me through how my ex employee would pay me and there was never a problem with receiving my checks. He made something I never wanted to do, very easy for me and I would recommend him to anyone who might be cheated out of money that an employer isn't paying you.
