I was referred to Tim at Savior Leak Detection by Pedro of The Sewer Brothers. I was quite nervous about the amount of damage and the cost of repair, and even more so when I found out I had to pay someone separate of the plumber, just to find the location of the leak. Tim's kind demeanor and matter of factness eased my nerves. He offered some advice on next steps, dealing with home insurance, repair of the floor where it will likely be cut up to access the leak, and gave no pressure to use the plumber who had referred me to him (but I did). When I first called him to check if he serviced my area (Chatsworth) and ask for his fee, he offered to move another appointment to be at my condo within an hour. He was able to detect and confirm where the leak was coming from within an hour of his arrival, as well. I know all cases are different, and I don't know what the average rates for leak detection services are, but Tim made me feel like I got quality, straightforward service and it was worth what I paid. The technician Marco Guillen arrived promptly at 6pm and was very professional. He went through and tested EVERY single water pipe in the house. He was extremely thorough and checked for every possibility. He eventually found what he suspected was the issue behind the dishwasher. The problem turned out to be a leaking garbage disposal, but we had him replace our angle stops as long as he was under there. Glad we did! Someone had mangled the pipe stubs coming out of the wall during a previous service. He fixed one and replaced the other. He quoted us once for replacing the garbage disposal, additionally for replacing the angle stops, and then some extra for fixing the piping. When it came time to pay the bill, he quoted us a price that was way under the total of what he had quoted us for the three separate tasks. It was so nice to have all of this taken care of at a reasonable price.

They never found the tank or completed the job\. They promised they would obtain the city or county blueprints and return to finish the work, but it's been almost a year and a half and they never came back or followed up\. They even suggested I break part of my concrete patio, which turned out to be unnecessary because they were looking in the wrong place\. I understand difficult jobs happen, but I paid for a professional service that was never completed\. I received no solution, no refund, and no accountability\. Very disappointing experience
