I came here because I've read the sandwiches are really goood. I got the hot coast beef and cheese with horseradish sauce. It was amazing. Had great flavor, the sauce was just right and not overpowering at all. Also got some macaroni salad which was equally as good. I'm generally picky when it comes to macaroni salad but they are spot on! I'll be trying this place again. There is also a big selection of local beers and wine, which i will also have to check out.

Such a cute place. They have been there for 47 years I was told today. Wow! I've only been in twice. Partly because of parking and partly because I simply forget it's there. I needed lunch yesterday and there was a parking spot directly in front so I grabbed it & some lunch. I got the cranberry chicken salad wrap. Pretty sure it's Willow Tree chicken salad but I'm not complaining, I loved it. There is a great wine selection and they have wine tastings as well. There is a little two seater bar section and a few tables as well. It's a very cozy spot to enjoy your lunch.

Vic and Whit's is way more than a sandwich shop. Sure you can get all kinds of sandwiches, but the store is really about wine and beer. If you're looking for high end wines and beers (but not always expensive), this is where you want to go. The woman who helped me was very friendly and helpful, but all I wanted was a sandwich so it wasn't hard to help me. There's a lot to see in this store and if you wander the aisles, you're unlikely to leave empty handed. This is a really enjoyable place to spend some money while they're making your lunch and I'm sure that I'll give them many opportunities in the future. The only thing I wish they would get is a menu that I could take with me. I never know what I want until someone hands me a menu.

Stopped for a quick bite of lunch. Hade a cup of homemade chicken and rice soup , husband had chili. Great little stop on our travels! I asked to take some photos of this adorable store and I've attached. They also have a nice selection of wines too.

My view. Changing seats doesn't improve it.

Not at all as advertised. No Beer served here. No diet coke either. Had to order from the shop. Service was average, food was meh. The ambience was wretched. It consisted of some weeds, dead plants, a garbage can and air condenser. REALLY??

    Great Wines!

Best Wine Shop! Great atmosphere. Organic wines too. Highly recommended.

Amazing Sauvignon Blanc with an amazing local cause!

So glad I found this place! Outstanding wine selection, there is a wide variety from all over to indulge in! I'm personally a Sauvignon Blanc lover and I wanted to try something new so I asked for recommendations. The staff was very well educated about the wines and extremely helpful. I ended up trying and loving an organic, award-winning, vegan Sauvignon Blanc called The Oyster that helps rebuild Maine's oyster reefs! They have a lot to choose from but I do highly recommend this one.

Great sandwiches. Friendly owners. Great wines and free wine tasting. No better place to visit on Main Street in Saco.

I like the wine selection. Had a nice wine tasting, free, of five wines, with bread and cheese.

Busy day running around and I was STARVING! While in Gorham, my wife suggested Miller's Market. At…read morefirst, I was put off by the atrocious parking, but what else could I expect in down town? This place definitely gives "butcher" and "market" vibes, which was expected. Indoor seating was lacking, and the menu wasn't huge...but trust me, the variety was just enough to satisfy just about anyone. I ordered the smash burger, which was messy, greasy and absolutely fantastic. I got the turkey club for my kids to split (and this thing was HUGE) they didn't finish it . My wife got the Cesar wrap, and she was beyond happy with it. She even brought half back home with us. I strangely suggest going on a nice day and sitting outside, it was wonderful. (Pro-tip; if going during peak lunch, expect a wait on the food. We went into Azul Tequila and got an appetizer to go so we could eat this while waiting for our sandwiches. Honestly, it's the best of both worlds)

Ahh, the sign of a butchers cleaver. I am not sure what this provokes in most people, but as I've…read moresaid before, Stephen King gives me the heebie-jeebies. So for me, the butcher cleaver represents something tasty--except for when the shmuckabaloos haven't a clue what they are doing. Fortunately, this tasty little joint, Miller's Market up in Gorham, Maine, knows what they're doing! I'd been cruising the highways, riding the coast of Vacationland for some time now, and somehow, someway, ventured a bit further inland. Once I saw the burnt-orange cleaver in the window, I knew I'd have to give it a try and see if these hullabaloos knew what they were doing. I was greeted with a "Hey, how you'rrrr doin'?" The soft, rolling extension on the r made me feel right at home in Maine. Jeezum crow, you Mainers speak funny. But by golly, you are a lovable bunch of hillbilly farmers and fisherfolk. Anywho, I ordered myself a chicken Caesar wrap--wanting to feel nourished, but not to the point of comatose. Salad in a wrap--a genius way to feel healthy. Mind over matter. "Hand-cut fries or hand-cut chips?" the counter guy asked me. Now, I love a fry, but I'm feeling crunchy in these overcast late-April days. I hesitate, and somehow this mind reader behind the counter could sense it. "I can see you want the chips, but you gotta try these fries. Why don't I give you a little of both?" he says to me. Now I'm looking at him cockeyed--just another Mainer who seems to be able to read a man's soul. Well, I am here now--no turning back. And then my eyes widen when I spot a tasty crème soda in the fridge next to the register. My lucky day. Crème soda--the most underrated of all sodas. What's not to love? Creamy and poppy all in the same bottle. This guy seems nice, and I am in no rush, so I say, "Hey, throw it on my tab. I'm going to be a while. After I eat, I'm going to write something!" I pull up a spot without paying and know that there's no expectation to do so--at least not right away. Good ol' Maine courtesy, as good as this blueberry Jalapeño salsa from Pemberton partners, which I can apparently purchase at Millers Market, where it just ain't sangys it's home goodies too. I open up my futuristic-typewriter and get to work on my latest novel, but can't seem to find a single word. I glance at the menu--buffalo chicken pesto sandwich. Hard tellin', not knowin'. Mainers--brilliant folk when it comes to food. Pesto and buffalo sauce! Never had it, but I need it. That's bound to be tasty--as warm buttah' on lobstah. "Hi, I'll take my butter with lobster, please."--how it should be ordered. Dee-EEE --licious. You Mainers are shaking your heads right now, pesto and buffalo is probably a common thing round these parts, from ya? Nope I ain't and the rest of the country is far behind on the trend of the buffalo/pesto combo, I can promise you that. Then my food is brought out to me. It looks tasty--but the fries have me skeptical.... Find out how it all turned out at https://ryanccurtis.com/blog/timeless-fries-at-millers-market/n19c63

The bagels are about as fresh as you can get, soft and chewy! We placed our order on line and pickup was easy at the window. Plenty of parking in the lot.

I had wanted to add pickled onion but saw it was $1.95, so I skipped that. We both got sea salt bagels, cream cheese-requested on the side, and add ons of bacon, at $2 each bagel. We received 1 bagel with bacon. Cream cheese was on the bagels and it was very little, parts of my bagel had no cream cheese at all. I guess that's why it wasn't on the side because then it would have been a decent amount. I kind of feel bad writing bad reviews and complaining, but I tipped them 15% and everything is so expensive now (ie. the pickled red onions). The bagels were $7.90 each for a bagel, very minimal cream cheese and bacon add on. I was going to leave 2 stars but the bagels were edible & 1 of the bagels was almost the correct order, & when my husband called & told them, they said they would refund our $2, so I landed on a 3. Hopefully we do get the refund because we don't have it as of writing this. I just wish I could re-do the tip amount. It's like giving a reward for not doing your job-anyhow, check your orders before you leave! Even though we live in Biddeford, we will be getting our bagels at Forage in Portland in the future.
