My experience working with Vibrant Image Photography and Sarah was downright awful and I would not recommend this photographer to anyone. I had my family photographed in Sarah's studio on April 1st, and the photos were ready to be viewed by April 10th, but I did not submit my selections for the digital releases included in the package I purchased until June 3rd because it was difficult to choose which photos were most acceptable. We had an uncooperative subject, and I was grateful that Sarah was able to get a few nice (smiling) shots, but the criticisms I received from my family and friends were not in regards to my niece's pouty face. Rather, complaints were of the large wrinkles in the backdrop which could be seen in the photos, the rusty metal and plastic school chair on which Sarah seated my niece, the abundance of background vs. subject in some of the shots, and the poor/minimal editing of the photos. When I did email Sarah with my photo selections on June 3rd, I did not receive a reply. Sarah's email policy clearly states that all emails are replied to within 24 hours. I very patiently waited until June 21st before contacting her a second time. When I still had not heard back from her on June 25th, I decided to try a Facebook message to Vibrant Image's FB page. The reply I received the same day was snarky, emotionally manipulative, and blamed the lack of reply on a 3 day trip + 2 weeks in the hospital (which still did not put Sarah within even 72, much less 24, hours of my original email). Still, she stated that I would have my photos later in the day and so I waited. More than 24 hours later I emailed Sarah again expressing my disappointment that I still had not received my digital releases. Sarah's reply to me was full of capitalized words accusing me of being, "rude," and, "heartless," and admonishing me for my behavior. The entire thing was so unprofessional that I could hardly believe it! In addition to being upset that my photos did not turn out as nicely as I expected, I am shocked and appalled at Sarah's lack of professionalism and her inability to effectively manage her business and live up to the promises she makes to her customers. I am grateful that my niece is still as cute today as she was in April and I can try again with another photographer. I would strongly caution those considering Vibrant Image Photography to capture moments that cannot be re-created (such as weddings) against working with this company. In fact, I would caution anyone that expects to be treated respectfully and to receive services as they were promised against working with Sarah. **Update: as if the above experience wasn't enough, I feel people should also know that Sarah went through a mutual acquaintance to view my Facebook page (which is not visible to the public) and viewed a post which simply stated that I would not recommend Vibrant Image. She went on to send me an outrageous message warning me that I ought to be careful what I post and that she will be suing me for, "slander." She also insulted my niece in this message. I will attempt to post pictures illustrating the poor photo quality and the poor treatment I have endured from this business. I implore all readers to please save themselves a headache and choose another photographer. read more

I'm sure this is a lovely studio, but I never got a chance to work with them. Bought a Groupon for a boudior shoot but it was VERY difficult to schedule a session. At least in my experience, the communication was sorely lacking and after a month calling and emailing back and forth, I finally gave up because I felt like they didn't really want my business. I'm not sure if the studio was especially busy at this time of year or if something else was going on but I didn't feel like the professionalism was there. I purchased the living social boudoir package on a whim, and I am SO glad that I did. Sarah was great in scheduling me and getting the finished pictures back to me in time for Valentines! I'm grateful to her for that! I loved her studio, and she did such a good job on my make-up, I really should have asked her for some tips! And she didn't flinch at my Looooong hair and really bad haircut I am trying to grow out lol! She was very personable and chatty during the styling, and I had a great time just hanging out. I tend to be caught in very awkward positions in photos, and her directions were perfect, up down, tweak this; and the images look fantastic! I came with very little in the way of ideas and expectations, and she provided a great experience. I can't wait to give these images to my fella! read more

Sarah is amazing! I had the best experience here. Sarah is extremely personable and very professional. She made me feel comfortable at all times and I never felt awkward which is really saying something considering I was less than half dressed most of the time Some highlights: - Sarah herself is a trained cosmetologist as well as a photographer. She listened to exactly what look I wanted for my pictures and my hair looked phenomenal for 3 days after the shoot was over. - quick turnaround time! I had my pictures back within 48 hours to view and pick my favorites ( which was so hard that I ended up ordering extra pictures because I loved too many of them). - she makes you feel very comfortable and takes her time. She's also tells you exactly what to do and where to place your hands, where to look, etc so you aren't feeling weird at all. She was also really patient with me because I kept mirroring her posing instead of listening to what she wanted me to do ( thanks, Zumba)! - she made time for me on her day off and was EARLY to the appointment. I think we also ran over our allowed photo time, but I never felt rushed and she even took extra pictures at the end after asking me if I wanted any specific poses. Overall, I can not recommend Sarah enough. She was fantastic to work with and I have some gorgeous pictures I know my husband is going to love! read more

This business is not even worthy of 1 star. Took photos as a gift for my boyfriend who is in the military and is deploying in several months. After the session was told I'd receive proofs for photo selection in one week. Not only did I not receive any photos but Sarah, the photographer, completely ignored every and all attempts to communicate. After a couple months of being ignored and more emails then I can count I filed a PayPal claim for a refund. Once claim was filed Sarah finally sent the PROOFS. Final photo selection was made the same day proofs were received, but again Sarah disappeared and photos were never received. Not only did she continue to blow me off, but she never responded to PayPal and they did issue me a refund. I'm glad to have gotten my money back (minus the nice tip I gave her the day the pictures were taken), but I would have much rather had the gift I planned on giving. Sarah knew this was a deployment gift- she only thinks about herself and doesn't care about who she takes advantage of for a little bit of money. Based on other reviews this is obviously her "thing"; her scam will catch up to her eventually. read more

Hands down the most unprofession and irresponsible business i have dealt with. I purchased a groupon and contacted the photographer to schedule an appointment as directed on their ad. My original appointment was rescheduled due to conflict of schedule with her dog's therapy. Today i contacted her via email as per her email instructions and i received no answer. I showed up to my appointment after paying to have my make up done, drove 30 min to the location only find the doors locked. The sign outside was different from the business name advertised so i walked to the tenant next door, A vets office and they confirmed that i was at the right place and pointed out what door to knock on. During the 30 minutes I waited outside i called back and forth and emailed the business....still no answer. After waiting 45 minutes i lost my patience and left. Do not use this photographer! She does not deliver. My friend and I saw the Groupon and called with questions. She convinced us to go directly through her to get a better deal so we did. We scheduled our shoot which went well. She did our hair and makeup. She told us when we would get the proofs which didn't happen on time. Finally after bugging her, we got them. My friend got her book but I never did. Many emails and calls went unanswered. She got paid for the service but I never got my book. Very unprofessional. DO NOT USE HER AS A PHOTOGRAPHER! Very disappointed with this business. I have purchased the Groupon. I called to make an appointment. They only return calls one day in a week. (What kind of business does that???) So, I e-mailed to get an appointment. They scheduled me, but few days prior to the day, they e-mailed me to cancel. Also asking me if 2 weeks from the date is ok. I e-mailed back saying ok. I used Vibrant Image for a photo shoot and was so impressed I also asked them to do my wedding hair and make-up. It turned out absolutely perfect. I had to switch stylists at the last minute, and Vibrant Image was literally a life saver! After finally getting an appointment after trying for weeks. Then with some help from a mutual friend. I had the shot, got proofs (unedited) But nothing since. I have tried reaching out via phone and email. I'm in the business of customer service. No common courtesy or respect from this business owner. This is very sad and disappointing to see a business treat people like this. You would think if there was a major issue that someone would contact to say what the hold up is. I hope they don't treat everyone like this. Not sure how they would be able to stay in business. She also runs specials on Groupon. Maybe it's better if you go directly to the business. I don't know. It's funny to see there the business website has been updated since my shot but nothing on my pictures. She got her money. Now I'm out of money and It wasted my day for nothing. I purchased a livingsocial voucher for a photo shoot and could not even get a call back. Repeated attempts to contact vendor were completely ignored, so I had to go back to LivingSocial to get a refund. Best they could do was a credit, so looks like this studio gets all the money for these vouchers, and never does the work. Very disappointing! read more

I purchased a groupon for a photo shoot with Vibrant Photography. Let's start, two hours before my scheduled shoot she EMAILS me, saying she doesn't feel good and asks to reschedule.. which I don't check my emails, it would've been more professional if she would've actually called me. Also, I had trouble finding the studio, and tried calling the studio, and no one picked up, and there wasn't even an option to leave a voice mail.When I got there, I could tell she was miserable and didn't want to be there. Also, she's a cosmetic company rep, and tries to push you to buy her cosmetics... which she sent me a few emails telling me to buy her mascara, but nothing about the pics. After the shoot, she doesn't let you see ANY of the photos that she took... which is UNHEARD of, I've worked with multiple photographers, and they ALL let me a least get a quick sneak peak of the pics. She promised she'd email me the proofs in a few days but all I received was emails from her pushing me to go buy her cosmetics. I didn't get the pictures back till after two week. I then emailed her the photos that I wanted to be printed. In the email she said she would have them back to me within 48-72 hours. It took her a month to finally send them to me. She never sent me the 10 prints that were supposed to be included and it's now been months. I tried to email and call her a few times and no response. I actually got in contact with groupon, and they tried to get a hold of her twice... after she didn't respond to me or them, they gave me a complete refund. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! I'm an EXTREMELY easygoing person, if you read the rest of my reviews on this site, they are all very positive. I'm not a person that is hard to please in any way. read more

Don't buy the Groupon and don't use her. Very unprofessional. We had three appointment times all of which were "rescheduled." The first time she said she had a concussion or something - totally understandable, not a big deal. We rescheduled for a few weeks later. That week came and I had never heard from her, so I emailed to confirm the time etc. She wrote back that the heat was not working in the studio and "worse case scenario" we would reschedule for the following weekend. I never heard back. I followed up to confirm the following weekend and she said she'd send a google invite. i never heard back; I followed up two days before the third appointment and I still haven't heard back from her. When you try calling, she never calls back. She only responds via email. Very little communication, follow through or even respect. If she isn't a scam, then she clearly has some major issues and shouldn't be taking appointments. Of course now I'm trapped in the Groupon and they won't give me money back either - just have to transfer to another Groupon. So now I'm out the lingerie I bought, a Christmas/Valentine's Day gift for my boyfriend and now the money I had marked for this. I feel very screwed over. I hired Vibrant Image to do a boudior photo shoot and photo book for my soon to be husband. The actual photo shoot was wonderful and Sarah was able to make you feel comfortable, even though you were wearing lingerie. We were told that we would have our photos within 2 weeks. That did not happen. It then became a fight to get my photos. Multiple calls and emails went unanswered, and when contact was finally made after over a month, I was informed that the photographer had some personal issues and had taken time off. Completely understandable, but still contact to inform me that my photos were going to be delayed would have been nice. It then took another few weeks for my book to be delivered. Once the book arrived, it was soon determined that it was not correct and another book had to be ordered. From start to finish, it took me 2 1/2 months to receive my finished product. My husband to be was very happy with the photos, but the lack of professionalism and communication was horribly frustrating. read more

Vibrant Image Photography has a groupon posted for a reasonably priced boudoir shoot. I read the reviews on groupon and they were all positive for the most part. This is probably only because they were written after the shoot and before they received (or did not receive) their photos. Sarah was nice during the shoot and it went well; I felt comfortable. However, I paid for fake eyelashes which she wouldn't put on because she said mine were long enough and I ended up doing my own hair because I didn't like it. I was told if I bought the package through her, my friend (who was also there getting photos taken) and I would receive some extra things. The site also says you'll get samples, etc. but we didn't receive anything. I wanted some additional photos considering I paid for a longer session, but I felt rushed and it was getting dark. Oh, I forgot to mention that half of the electricity was out at her studio that day. I still haven't received my photos, in fact I haven't even heard from Sarah or received an email since the shoot. I was told I would receive the link for my digital images to choose from in ONE week and I would definitely have the hard copies by my boyfriends birthday (December 18) which was the whole reason I was having them done. I have not received any type of communication since the shoot, which was a month ago and neither has my friend. [I have looked at her personal facebook page and apparently she is active and has even been to Vegas] I have called her numerous times, written emails, written facebook messages to the business and still nothing! If there was a problem, the professional thing to do would be to call or email regarding the photos and inform me of the situation instead of ignoring me. I posted on their business facebook page and she deleted it along with other girls comments asking where their photos were! This is completely unprofessional and I'm praying that paypal will somehow return my money since I doubt ill hear back from her. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I'm so disappointed to have to give them a bad review, but when it comes to fulfilling orders and overall professionalism, I have to advise not to use this company. Sarah did my engagement, first newborn and wedding photos and was nice enough to work with, and she also produced some beautiful photos. I received the digital copies for each event, but when it came time to get my wedding album, canvas and large prints (that were included in the package I purchased) she did not deliver. Not only did I not get them, but she told me a couple times that they were on the way, and each time I tried to follow up with phone calls, emails and facebook messages, I was ignored. No response at all. I feel cheated out of something so important to me, and I've heard from other people that she's done the same to them. THIS STUDIO IS A SCAM. Six months ago I paid for my boudoir shoot (August 2015), had my shoot and HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY PICTURES. I have tried contacting Sarah multiple times and the one time she actually answers her phone (in the end of October) she said "I'll get that right out to you. Your email of your photo selections were in my spam." And then I got nothing. It's now January and that birthday present I got for my husband has not come. To say I am frustrated is a huge understatement. I have never encountered such lack of professionalism in my life. If there is a delay- then she should have contacted me with her an explanation. So far nothing. I am wondering if I need to take legal action to get me money back. Do not waste your time with this place. read more

Completely unprofessional! My friend and I both purchased a boudoir photography package on Groupon with this company. It took MANY emails and phone calls over several weeks to get in touch with the photographer to schedule a date. When she finally returned my call, she was not apologetic simply saying she was so busy. She offered me 3 dates and I told her I'd email her back confirming the date once I spoke with my friend. Mind you, the dates she offered were after the Groupon expired, but she said she'd still accept it. Well, I emailed and called once again MANY times to confirm and she never replied. In my opinion, I think she did this on purpose. My Groupon expired, so she'll still get paid, but without having to do the session. DO NOT BUY A GROUPON OR LIVING SOCIAL FOR THIS PHOTOGRAPHER! Others reported the same issue, I wish I listened. So disappointed, this was going to be Christmas gifts for our husbands. read more

I am surprised by the number of positive reviews that this studio has, both on Yelp and on Groupon. The large number of positive reviews was one of the reasons I purchased a Groupon for this studio. However, I never got to use the Groupon because I never heard back from the studio! I left a voicemail at the number provided by Groupon, I sent an email to the address that was provided by both Groupon and the studio (on their voicemail), AND I left a message through their website. After 2 weeks of no response, I gave up and requested a refund from Groupon. Perhaps it was bad timing, but I would encourage buyers to contact the studio first to set up an appointment and THEN buy the Groupon. Not worth the money if you can't even use it! And sadly, if the price sounds too good to be true, it probably is! read more

Absolutely HORRIBLE! It took weeks of going back and fourth with her to finally find an appointment time. Months after I bought the Groupon I finally went to my appointment. There were no signs out front of the business so it was difficult to find. She finally showed up at the exact time my appointment started. We went in, and it was extremely hot in the room because it was in August. She should have been there earlier to put the air on to make it comfortable. She did my hair, wasn't good. Did my makeup and never put on the fake eyelashes that I paid for. I remembered that after I left. She was also very unsanitary with the makeup brushes. We went through the shoot. She used very standard poses that she must use on every single person. I was told I would receive the proofs a few days later. After about a week I emailed her and asked where they were and she told me she sent the email I must not have gotten it (that's not the first time she said that either, hard to believe she's the only person who's emails don't go through). I saw the proofs and was very unhappy. They weren't good at all. I told her I wasn't happy and she said "really? We have never had someone not like their pictures. All of the editing isn't finished yet".I decided since I had already paid for everything I would pick the best ones. It took a while to pick, none were good. I finally sent my choices to her and I have heard nothing back. No reply, no email, no phone call. I have emailed multiple times. I have even contacted Groupon and they haven't been able to get in touch with her either. This is by far, the absolute worst service I have ever encountered. I think she needs to be taken off of Groupon also. I haven't read any good reviews about her. I would never recommend her to anyone. Absolutely terrible. I HAD to give 1 star, I would really like to give 0 stars. read more

This was by far the worst customer service I have ever received. I purchased a boudoir session from living social a few months before my wedding as a gift for my husband. When I tried calling Sarah to schedule my shoot, she was impossible to get a hold of. After weeks of back and forth phone messages I finally got her on the phone. She didn't have anything available for before my wedding so I scheduled it for a couple months later. My shoot was the end of August and went well. The girl that did my hair and makeup was very nice. The girl that did my photos (not the owner Sarah) was wonderful and made me feel very comfortable. I received my proofs a few weeks later and they did come out great. My package allowed me to choose 10 images so I did and sent my choices back to Sarah. Weeks went by and I still hadn't heard anything so I emailed again. This went on for months. I tried emailing and calling multiple times and could never get a hold of anyone and no one ever called me back. Checking her Facebook I could still see she was active and booking shoots, my calls and emails were simply being ignored. By March i finally decided to file a claim with living social. They said they've had many of the same complaints and tried contacting Sarah and never got a response. It amazes me that a company could treat a customer like this, especially a small business. I can't believe living social and groupon are still offering deals for this. I finally got a refund but honestly I would have rather had my photos. read more
