The church has diversity (with age and cultures) in their volunteers and members. I was a college student coming into the church at the beginning of the year and it was encouraging to see other people my age trying to live according to the word and sharing their faith. Broward, offers in depth, individual, studies to help others know more about the bible and are often striving to connect with community through various events. I know he is in good hands there because I have met with all the volunteers and they are great with kids. I feel the spirit of God so much in that place. I am often moved to tears by the praise and worship. The sermons have all been unique, inspiring, and thought-provoking. The pastors do a wonderful job. I feel that the sermons are biblically sound as well. As soon as we step on campus we are greeted by welcoming faces. We have made some friends and my husband started to attend his first Bible study. Now he wants to get baptized. He is studying the Bible everyday at home. God is really moving in my family through this church. When we were struggling with a personal trial, we went to the prayer team after service. I was really upset and they hugged me and prayed over us and helped me feel comforted and supported. I always look forward to Sunday. This church has made a huge impact on my family and we now seek the Lord more than ever. In this time of need and grief the fact that the pastor could not do the funeral in the church or at least send a pastor to where we will have the service instead could've been an option, but was not even offered as one we strictly got a no! The excuse of that was, because of kids camp going on. I understand it is important. I have been part of the kids club. But in a time of need, it should be where your church helps. Your church stands by you in this time, they did this to my mother's funeral couple of years ago because they needed to prepare for their Halloween night. Trust me I get it. These are important events. Absolutely you want to put a show on and bring people in. Definitely understand that but as a member for many years needing help two times from grief and loss and losing people it's a shame that nobody stepped up or nobody could help at a funeral service of a member or for a member of the church. ever
