The flavors were on point and I couldn't ask her anything more. The barbecue brisket sandwich was all to die for!! We also had the fried pickles which we highly enjoyed, and we purchased the beer mugs which we thought were awesome made of glass and you get to bring them back for a five dollar beers until Thanksgiving! Also, our server was new, but she was very attentive. I was able to give us her opinion on a few items.. We loved that there was an old car in there and the aesthetics were great. We also thought that the bathrooms were pretty cool and all of the car accents from the sink being attire to the door handles being pumps was a great touch. We will definitely be returning next time we visit.

We were skeptical at first on how peanut butter would taste on a burger and just couldn't wrap our head around the flavor profile. But, after trying it... WOW!!! It is definitely a must try if you like a good burger and peanut butter. The peanut butter did not overwhelm the flavor of the burger and it was not just slathered on there, but just enough to enhance the flavors. They also use a brioche bun!! The burger is called Jiffy Burger. The décor is pretty cool, does get a little loud, but still able to have a decent conversation.

Patches Pub & Grill sits at 4723 Thomas Drive on the east end of Panama City Beach. I couldn't pin…read moredown an exact founding year or the original owner's name from public sources, but the recognition is well documented: it's been voted Best Sports Bar, Best Wings, and Best Burgers in the "Best of Bay" reader poll for multiple years running (2016 through at least 2025). The wings back up that reputation -- they run nearly a dozen flavors, with the dry rub being a standout, and the awards clearly aren't just hype. The pizza was solid too, a good pub-style pie that holds its own against the wings as the main draw. Beer specials were a nice touch on top of it, keeping the whole visit reasonably priced without skimping on quality. A legit neighborhood sports bar that's earned its "best of" titles rather than just claiming them.

We went to Thistle and Thorne on a Saturday afternoon and ordered the mini afternoon tea for two…read more It comes with two pots of premium loose leaf tea (we chose strawberry kiwi and birthday tea), two housemade scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam, and four classic finger sandwiches--cucumber and ham & provolone. My daughters loved the cucumber sandwiches--they tasted fresh and crisp. The ham and provolone had a mustard spread they didn't care for, and the bread was a little on the stale side. That said, the presentation on the two-tier platter was undeniably cute. Honestly though, the real win here is the vibe. It somehow blends traditional afternoon tea with hip coffee shop energy and just a hint of speakeasy moodiness. The "bar" lined with loose leaf teas instead of liquor bottles was such a fun touch (though yes, they do serve alcohol too if that's your thing). We sat in one of the window alcoves, which felt semi-private and made the whole outing with my daughters feel a little extra special. And the floor-to-ceiling bookshelf? Chef's kiss. Our server was attentive and cheerful, and mentioned they offer a full high tea once a month--which apparently sells out in five minutes (not surprising). But honestly, the mini tea (available Fridays and Saturdays) was just right for us.
