When booking via hotels.com I received an e-mail from Lisboa Holidays (the owners who have their office at another location) asking me to send them my flight information, print the booking confirmation from them, be prepared to pay with card or cash upon arrival and call Francisco when we were on the way from the airport. (Btw, it costs 15€ by taxi or about 3€ per person with metro to get from the airport. Both easy and smooth alternatives.) I have to admit I almost gave our loft apartment (4B) five stars because the price was great (200€ for 4 nights, double occupancy, during the sardin festival in June), the location was perfect (easy to take the train to Cascais and Belem just two minutes from our door) and it was clean. But I don't want to give them the disadvantage of too high expectations. The loft apartments have a shared kitchen (where you can keep your water cold) and a big living room with a TV and view of the sea. But we didn't use it and hardly bumped into anyone there. If you are 4 or so couples, reach out to this place and hear if you can book the entire loft ;) I will recommend this place to my friends, I recommend it to you and wouldn't mind staying there again.

We had a very bad booking experience with the agency representing Club Med in Portugal. We asked…read morethem to quote and book roundtrip transfer to/from the airport to the resort. They quoted and booked only one way, which was not at all clear to us from their communication nor from the invoice we received. We wasted 2 days of our vacation trying to resolve the problem as the remaining transfer options were very limited and expensive. We received no help from the Portugal agency who made the mistake in the first place. The Club Med resort itself was a great experience (Serre Chevalier, French Alps) and it was the resort manager who helped to resolve our transfer issue at her own business expense. I would highly recommend Club Med and the Serre Chevalier resort, just don't book it through the local Portugal agency.
