Since we were so close to our wedding, our goal was to become more comfortable dancing together for our first dance and to do something other than the traditional "high school arms around the neck and waist" type of dance style. When calling to make the appointment I was able to get in touch with someone right away and they were extremely friendly and helpful. I called on a Tuesday and made an appointment for that Saturday. Our class was at 9:30AM with Debbie. Debbie was so friendly and personable. She listened to our first dance song and what we were looking to achieve from the lesson. In the 45 minutes, she left us with an intro to our dance, a rumba dance style we could do throughout, and a dip to close. It was more than I imagined but something we could realistically accomplish in two weeks without a crazy amount of practicing or skill level. Debbie provided a lot of valuable feedback throughout the class and stayed on pace so we were able to get the most out of our 45 minutes with her. We felt very prepared for our first dance and we are super excited for our wedding day! They also have 2 pack classes if you want more time to polish your first dance as well as several classes where you can have a very choreographed dance with intricate dance moves. For other couples I would definitely recommend to purchase more classes and to go way farther in advance than 2 weeks :) It is great that they take couples months out all the way to the week out who are just looking to improve their dance skills. The studio is gorgeous and there is plenty of space. I would definitely come back here for other dance classes and would recommend to any couples or singles looking to better their dance skills.

Due to their reputability, they have kind of become a pre-professional company. This is a testament to the talent and training of the studio, but I also know that this is not for everyone, as some people aim to utilize dance as a hobby or outlet rather than a career path. With that said, a dancer will definitely get an advanced dance education here, and that can be hard to find nowadays. I'm also a size 14 and on the chubbier side so I was really nervous about feeling judged for my body. However, the atmosphere at Tease instantly put those thoughts at ease. Everyone there is very welcoming and friendly, and you will meet people of all shapes and sizes at Tease. All bodies are welcome and celebrated! I feel so honored to be part of this community and hope that it continues to grow. The facility itself is very clean. The floors are wiped down in between each class and the equipment is cleaned as well. Literally the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with. Zero or actually negative…read morestars. While my oldest daughter worked with Kaitlyn for voice lessons for a few years and had a great experience with her, the business is so poorly run, and they will just take your money and run. About a year ago, we were informed that we owed over $2000 in back pay due to their lack of proper accounting. It took me hours to go over records and verify that what they were claiming was correct. And in the end, I still wasn't sure if there was some inflation of charges since it was over a year's worth of billing that I had no invoices to keep track of. After this blunder on their part, they changed their accounting and billing policy and actually started sending invoices monthly. But the invoices reflected payments for 2 months in advance. So essentially if you decide to quit, they have 2 months worth of your money. My daughter's voice teacher, Kaitlyn, decided to leave AMI, and we were only given 1 week's notice prior to her leaving. In fact Kaitlyn said she was instructed NOT to say anything up until one week before. And my daughter is about to go to college, so switching now to a new teacher made no sense. So now we are left with over $800 in credits that we will never use. I asked several times for them to reconsider and reimburse our money. In the medical field where I work, it is customary to give patients 90 days notice if you are leaving so they can find a new provider. And we have worked with other music related businesses and none of them were crooks like AMI. Look elsewhere.
