I am super impressed!…read more This is going to be a long winded review. Let me start off by saying my 11 year old daughter has done competitive cheer for 4 or 5 years. The team she was on was good but never won the super big competitions. My daughter was discouraged so much that she wanted to stop cheer. We offered to switch teams but she said she wanted to try something else. She loves to dance as well as gymnastics/tumbling so we investigated some dance schools in the area. A year or so ago while she was still doing cheer we signed her up for a recreational class at Xtreme so she could try it out. She enjoyed it very much so we decided to sign her up for one of their more competitive teams this season. She wanted to try out for company but we didn't know how that would go since she was new, we didn't know if there were politics that may keep a new student from making one of the higher level teams or if she was even good enough to make the team. We explained to our daughter not to get her hopes up, however when the time came she made it all the way up on the Gold Level team, she was ecstatic! Xtreme has many different levels which will probably cater to most all skill levels from beginner to advanced. Now that we are five months into this season and completed two regional competitions I can leave an honest review...my review is that Xtreme is awesome! My daughter's team won her first competition and took 2nd in her second competition but that doesn't tell the whole story. Xtreme wins everything, well not literally everything but almost lol. In the overall scoring they took 1st overall and had three teams in the top five. During the awards all you hear the announcer saying is "Xtreme Dance Force, Xtreme Dance Team" over and over as different Xtreme teams/lines win. When my daughter did competitive cheer there were always those two or three teams that always seemed to win everything, well it appears Xtreme is one of those schools/teams that win almost everything and our daughter couldn't be happier to be a part of it. Staff and teachers seem great. Being our first year my wife and I always have lots of questions, the staff probably wants to strangle us sometimes but they're always very helpful and friendly. My daughter says the teachers are all very nice and encouraging. She's already taking about next year and wanting to do more dances and try out jazz and lyrical next season. I'd highly recommend Xtreme whether you're looking for just recreational dance instruction or highly competitive levels of dance for your child.

We have been asked multiple times how we learned such a complex showstopper dance. I had never really done any sort of dancing before, and we had selected a waltz. Instantly, we were impressed at how effective of a teacher Meg was, making complex movements seem easy. More importantly, she put me at complete ease. Our weekly dance practices ended up being the highlight of our week. She broke down everything into basics and helped create and teach the choreography in chunks. As the weeks progressed, we decided to add more length to the song since we were enjoying it so much. She worked on creating the mix and crafted the additional choreography as well. We then decided to practice with our actual wedding clothes on as well, and we learned limitations two weeks before the wedding date. Meg helped us find professional dance shoes and adapted the choreography to work around those limitations, completely making the song feel comfortable even in the limited movement of the clothing. Throughout these lessons, Meg was extremely flexible in scheduling and often going out of the way to work around our travel. She even helped us book a time slot when the entire studio was empty so that we could practice our dance using the whole space in private. Her and the rest of the instructors were warm, welcoming, and caring. We honestly had such a great time that we are thinking about going back to learn other dances as well.

Pure Vibe prepared her to become a four‑year varsity dancer at her high school, but they did so much more than help her make a team. They helped her develop confidence, discipline, work ethic and grace - the kind of life skills that stay with her far beyond the studio. The teachers genuinely care about each dancer as a person. Pure Vibe feels like a second home, a place where dancers grow up, learn to work as a team, take feedback, perform in front of people, and believe in themselves. They focus on proper technique, but they also teach compassion, teamwork, confidence, and character through dance. This is what makes Pure Vibe different from other studios: the way they support the whole dancer - mind, body, and heart. They encourage dancers to be well‑rounded both inside and outside of dance, which is rare. It's a wonderful studio with great teachers, strong values, and a genuinely positive atmosphere. We are incredibly grateful for the role Pure Vibe has played in our daughter's life and the foundation it has given her - both as a dancer and as a young woman.

We had been at another local dance studio before and definitely found our fit at Pure Vibe. They are professional and organized; schedules and classes communicated early and clearly. My girls are very different personalities and learning styles, and they both thrive there in their own way thanks to the teachers. The studio focuses on a kind and non competitive environment; They aren't pitting dancers against each other and instead focus on personal growth and technique mastery. I appreciate that they work to strike a balance between understanding that dance is one component of these dancers' worlds, but also giving them opportunities to lean in when they want more. My oldest made her high school varsity dance team as a freshman and felt prepared and confident. So many strengths!
