In recent years we've opted for turkey stuffed turkey breast instead of the whole bird because the smallest one was 15+ lbs! The quality of meats here is always remarkable. The staff who have been working here for years are always friendly, knowledgeable, and work around this shop like a well oiled machine. In pre-pandemic times, they would offer a free Christmas dinner in a cup where you could add everything including cranberry sauce and gravy and enjoy it while you wait for your order to come out. My suggestion is to order well in advance to get on the list. They are doing drive through/car pick ups right now as well.

I wasn't sure what to expect so I opted for some marinated boneless lemon and herb chicken breasts. I cut the chicken up and added my favorite kabob vegetables (red pepper, egg plant and zucchini) and threw them on the bbq. Man, where they ever good. The chicken was probably the freshest I've had. Tender and juicy. Later I found out they already have prepared shish kabobs. Doh! I will definitely return to try their other specialties (ribs and steaks).

It has a fairly wide ranging menu and the selection of oysters available was excellent and my companion enjoyed her choice of the Raspberry Point. Understanding this is not a primarily a fish & chip establishment I did, based on my experience from the UK, probably set the bar too high or this was a one off scenario. The haddock had the texture of a pre-frozen product and the batter unappetizing, thick and greasy. The chips were likely refried, thin, small and pre-salted which a previous reviewer on Trip Advisor also noted. The Coleslaw was DOA. Service was courteous and attentive although my dish took 20+ minutes to arrive but likely due to it being a busy time. I'm grading my dish 2 out of 5. However that being said I would and will likely return to sample another item. Reservations are recommended even at lunchtime to avoid sitting (comfortably) at the bar.
