I approached him first and then the rest of my Family walked up. We all had the same address and I guess since my Daughter is prettier and younger than me, he chose to just ignore me and start talking to her. He said he wanted to help so we would all need to be on one together. He then said my Dad and Daughter could pick up but continued to ignore me and be sarcastic. He made it seem like I could be on one account by myself and they would be on another one. When they walked away he told me that I am not eligible because we live in the same household. I told him to put me on the same account as them and he was very rude and said he couldn't. I am not sure if he did or not. I have a permanent disability and I need food so badly. Also, I have 2 kids 10-11 years with a…read morepermanent disability. I'm not working since 2013. Going through a divorce. I called the 211 Hotline, they gave me Rock'n our disabilities, phone, and address. After I filled out their application with my information including my driver's license, and evidence of my disability from the doctor. I kept an email from Yolanda that I'm approved and she gave me the address in Victorville to pick up the food. They refused to give me food by Sally in Victorville on January 12, 2024. also, I reported in person to Dana the manager in Hesperia, she told me we do not support adult disability just children with disability. Dana told me you need to fill out another application for your disabled kids and you need to pay every month $50. Also, Dana told me it requires your disabled children to attend activities otherwise no food for you. Also, she notified me we were short on food even though my car was number 5 in the line. Attention: when I was waiting in line for food in my car, I could see the employees including Sally taking to their cars the expensive stuff and after that giving the people what was left over. you can ask the people in the line if you do not believe me.

I finally had the chance to visit this place after discovering it a while back, and it was an even…read morebigger experience than I expected. It's definitely out in the desert, but that makes sense, they need plenty of space to safely house and care for so many different animals. All of the animals looked healthy, well cared for, and comfortable in their habitats. The admission price was very reasonable, and the Extreme Feed experience was absolutely worth it (just keep in mind it's for ages 18+). I know it can feel a little sad seeing animals in enclosures, but learning more about their backgrounds helped put things into perspective. Many of them can't survive in the wild, and this sanctuary gives them a safe, protected place to live with a staff that clearly cares about their well‑being. Overall, it was a meaningful and memorable visit, and I'm glad places like this exist to give these animals a second chance.
