It's a very nice confectionery. There's another bakery nearby (about a block away) that has some…read morepastries and cakes, but this shop offers some amazing cakes. We opted for a raspberry mouse tart this time (photo). It was very good IMHO. Of course, it was not too sweet in comparison to American pastries. I think I can safely say that across the board about European desserts. Some American cakes are cloyingly sweet as if Americans are obsessed with sugar. Perhaps there's some truth to it. European desserts tend to be more elegant, or should I say, they offer sweetness with certain restraint. It must be very difficult to live so close to these good if not great bakeries and confectionaries. I think I'll be coming here everyday if I lived close by to try all the goodies they offer.
