Denn's is my favorite local organic grocery store, and I've tried stores in Böblingen and Leinfelden as well as Vaihingen.
The parking lot usually has spaces available, unless you happen to be there at lunch on a busy work day (in which case you wait in line to enter the lot as other customers leave). After you purchase your groceries, hand the cashier your parking ticket and they will validate your ticket for you. Assuming you've spent less than an hour in the lot, you won't need to pay for parking.
Rather than trying to buy groceries on an empty stomach, you can buy a cup of tea or coffee and a snack from the bakery and eat it at pleasant tables in front of the windows before you shop.
Denn's positions the fruit and vegetables front and center as you enter the store, which helps me to get the staples I came for rather than less healthy snacks. The fruit and veg are of high quality and the store offers a good selection. You can get wild rice and red rice and almond butter and kale chips and Lavera cosmetics. There's also a great cheese counter. And did I mention the bakery? read more
