It offers a variety of picnic sites, fishing spots, boating docks, trailer parking, grills, and swimming spots with sandbars. It also has one of the best points to sit and watch the sunset. The park continues in a large loop with different spots branching off in each direction. The trail is a gravel path large enough for cars to drive through with several parking spots. People often park and spend the whole day hanging by the sandbars, enjoying the lake and fishing and grilling out. The length of the trail and the accessibility of it make it a great place for people to come walk with family or walk the dogs. There is also a lot of local wildlife. I often see baby ducks and baby geese nest here. Overall, it is lovely, relaxing place to enjoy the lake.

This is a small campground with only 27 RV/popup campsites and 8 covered tent spots which were very cool. The campground was immaculate and the campsites are huge! So much room to spread out. There is a pool for seasonal swimming, a nice sized playground for the kiddos, golf course, and archery, but there is not a fun little putt-putt course that a lot of State Parks have. I get the feeling this park has been there a long time, had a very old-school charm. I enjoyed the walk near the stream on the Victoria's Path and liked seeing the different fishing ponds. The most amazing part was after the rain the steam rising from the ground from the new heat was other worldly, hadn't really seen anything like it! Check it out!! Get to as many in one day as you can, it's worth it!

Do you know there is a Riverwalk along a section of the Mulberry River in Braselton Georgia? If you…read moredidn't, you will be even more surprised to discover it's been in existence since 2001 [ insert mind-blown emoji here! ] The trail is approximately 2.3 miles one-way or 4.6 miles out and back. It features a 6 foot cascading waterfall around the 1 mile marker, a wooden bridge, and several scenic bends in the river. The gravel path is wide and several benches are placed throughout the trail. Elevation gain is minimal and in my humble opinion, the most beautiful area is around the waterfall. Unfortunately, much of the view of the river is overgrown throughout the trail, so I hope there will be some maintenance soon. After all, what good is a riverwalk when you can't see the river. I saw lots of wild life during my short 2.5 mile walk (1.25 one way). Great trail for bird watching also. Featured are two murals and a sculpture representing the point where four counties collide. Barrow, Gwinnett, Hall and Jackson. NOTES: There are no restrooms in the parking area nor along the trail. The gravel parking area off Liberty Church Road can handle around a dozen cars.
