I found a some meats and cheeses in the wine building that has free samples of wine with a sign out front that said venison sausage and not knowing what they had I went in. WRM had a small section of game meat sausages with elk, venison and buffalo in various forms which I grabbed the venison sticks. The venison sticks were very good and reminded me of some that I had a year ago from a local deer processor which I liked but I could not buy because it was shared with me from a deer hunt, you can't buy it in the store. After tasting the first one I was saddened that I only bought one package because I had the last one today and it's all gone. I would definitely try more items from WRM when I come across them again and buy more items to take with me.

Was able to get drinks and refills with not too much of a wait. Buffalo Wings were solid. The clubouse had a very good patio, was cool to relax out there after our round with a bourbon. Condo was nice and clean, few amenities, balconies that back up to the fairways. The replica holes were a fun challenge. There was a very nice lady who cleaned our clubs while my group finished the 18th hole. The not so good: For what you're paying for on this course, I expect a little more. Half of the ball washers were empty, none at all had towels. Water coolers on the course were entirely empty on a hot day. Greens were not very well kept, all kinds of chunks taken out of them. Beverage cart was few and far between. One of the guys who worked there had some pace-of-play comments to make to us, even though we were keeping up with and pushing the group in front of us. Amenities were those that you would find it a normal hotel room shampoo lotion conditioner. A room has fridge freezer and a microwave. If you forgot your block for the charger, no problem. Well, we go on a camping/fishing trip every June but wanted to try out Wisconsin parks. I read some…read morereviews on other sites that mentioned a mosquito problem. I've been camping my entire life and have been to Alaska (where they consider the mosquito the state bird) and have never come across such a thriving population. we went through 6 bottles of deep woods off and hunters deet (50% to 98.5% Deet) and were still eaten alive! That was in the parking lot and the hike in camping areas. the fishing pier was nice and well kept. the area is beautiful. there is a bridge on the way in that goes over the water for a bout a mile and its just breathtaking. also a plus, the water is pretty windy so there werent a lot of mosquitos there. firewood on site is a good deal, especially since you cant bring it from most other places. my main problem is that there is a parking sticker requirement. this is for all wisconsin state parks. I booked the trip online and looked up and got out of state fishing licenses and all that. not once did i see anything that said i would have to buy a parking sticker. upon arriving to the park we were told that for our 5 day stay we could either pay for the year ($35) or buy daily passes for $10 each. its not that much if you know what you're signing up for. after driving for 5 hours, its quite a shock.
