I requested an estimate on a basic rennovation (replace bad boards/ repaint) of a large deck. I…read morehad to text the day of the estimate to see if they were still coming because it was almost 1/2 hour past when they said they'd be there. After looking at the project, they left and said they'd email me the estimate. I've reached out no less than four times for my estimate, and even told them that if they weren't interested in my project to just let me know so I could reach out to other contractors. I was told that my estimate was prepared and would be sent later that day. I have yet to receive the estimate, but will not ask again, and I won't ever reach out to this contractor again. The rating is 2 stars because they initially showed up for the estimate, but I guess they don't need the work. Thank you finally for an answer. Yes, you did provide an estimate on stair railings and I did go a different way because you could not provide the style railings I wanted. But it was totally unprofessional to go through the motions of providing an estimate with no intention of doing so, and then not telling me that in the beginning, especially after I asked about your interest in the project. I've read your reviews and customers seem happy with your work, so it's a shame it didn't work out this time.

He was kind enough to secured my storm door, patched a small hole in the wall and gave sound advice on other items that required fixing which was all unplanned & unscheduled. Mr. Brown kept me informed of his estimated arrival time, quoted me a reasonable price on the same day of inquiry (in-fact, it was 20mins after I had got off the phone with him), and arrived in a timely fashion (earlier than what was expected). Knocked the job right out! I highly recommend choosing Trim Jim Construction. I am pleased with his work and customer service. I would definitely use his services again in the future.

He said he would power wash our playground but showed up with no equipment and and started using my equipment (which is not for powerwashing!!!). He said he needed a down payment to buy some items, we gave him the money and he never purchased any items. To add insult to injury he did not complete the job, he took apart some pieces and left them on the floor and he took some of our equipment home. Do not use this contractor. He is extremely unprofessional! He also does not have his address listed so if you want to take him to small claims court you may have to hire a private investigator to find him!

There were many problems with the installation until Paul Strauderman intervened who now is gone from your company. Apparently when the installers made the changes they placed a empty post beside my garage, drilled a screw into the siding and cut the cap to fit around the screw. The screw has now apparently come loose and the post is not secure allowing movement and causing difficulty with locking the gate which must be done.
