The House On the Rock - Area that looks like a bunch of little shops

Everywhere you turn there is something fascinating, surprising, and unique to look at. The exhibits are incredibly impressive and creative, and the entire place feels magical and unlike anything else. The architecture itself is stunning, so artistic, detailed, and special. You can really feel how much thought and imagination went into creating the whole experience. One of our favorite parts was seeing the beautiful carousels and all the incredible displays throughout the museum. Every section feels different and exciting, and there are constantly little details to notice. It truly feels like stepping into another world. A really nice surprise in the middle of the visit was the food break area with ice cream and pizza. It was actually very needed because there is A LOT of walking, so definitely wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to spend a good amount of time exploring. It's much bigger than we expected. We purchased 15 tokens for the attractions/games, but honestly I think even 10 would probably be enough for most families. Overall, this was such a memorable experience for both adults and kids. Unique, entertaining, beautiful, and full of surprises, definitely worth visiting!

My cousin really wanted to come here and I didn't even know what it was. We drove here from St…read more Louis to come see this attraction. I came in blind, not knowing what it was. It was super impressed. It literally kept going on and on and on. so many fun interesting things. We stopped and got a hotdog at the cafeteria, which was nice because we were getting a little hungry and thirsty on this long walk. I would recommend bringing dollar bills so you can buy coins and put them into the different coin operated machines that they have. They have a lot of those around the entire facility and it's one of the only interactive options. Obviously everything looked really cool. I think that the only thing that would make it better would be to have a more interactive aspect to some of the parts, but I'm not sure how they would do that and I don't think they're gonna change anything. It's still well worth a visit.

Then was told the price was almost 50% more than quoted. Called them and was connected to an individual who clearly did not know what he was doing (at least I hope their reps aren't trying to damage their reputation). When he was done, my charges had ballooned to over 300% of the quoted price. He claimed I would see a refund and I did see a monor rebate, but still made my return more normally charged for a much more elaborate return. Spoke with several of their agents the next day but received very little relief. Was told that it was somehow my fault for actually e:filing my returns. I had used TaxAct for well over a decade, but never again.

I mean, it should be automatic, do you want to print a copy.. but no, you can struggle on the darned site for 30 minutes and never be able to get a copy of what you just filed. VERY FRUSTRATING and cumbersome. It took a lot of time just to find the extension form and then they take you through questions as to WHY you are extending? How is it any of their business why? UGRRRR, so irritating, I remember now why I am so irritated with this service, I forgot and returned to it this year. I will be sure to take note! Free extension but you can file that for free on hundreds of other sites.
