2 Stars -- Refund Eventually Resolved, But the Process Was Extremely Frustrating…read more My experience with Burrage Roofing was very frustrating, particularly when it came to getting my refund after deciding not to move forward with the roofing project. I had been repeatedly following up with Lynn regarding the return of my funds. I was given assurances that the refund would be handled, but the money continued to be delayed. I even provided the requested banking information and followed up when I still had not received the refund. What is especially upsetting is that Kendrick, one of the owners, ultimately contacted me and refunded the money immediately. That showed me that the situation could have been resolved much sooner. In fact, based on what happened, I don't understand why Lynn could not have handled this the same way on September 5, when I was already trying to get the refund resolved. I spent days following up, worrying about my money, and dealing with unnecessary frustration when the issue apparently could have been taken care of much sooner. I do give Kendrick credit for stepping in and resolving the issue quickly once he became involved. However, the fact that it took that intervention to finally get my money back left a very bad impression. For anyone considering Burrage Roofing, my advice is to read the contract carefully, keep all communications in writing, and stay on top of your money throughout the process. Ultimately, I did receive my refund, but the way the situation was handled before Kendrick stepped in was extremely disappointing and unnecessary.
