The very nice lady at the desk said that very people know they're there and that many are surprised they've been there for so many years. It is a beautiful, well-maintained, well laid out memorial park. There are a couple of big columbariums on the far side of the park and the construction crews were building more. There are clean restrooms and even a room for the honor guard to wait before a funeral. There is great beauty in this hidden treasure, a nice place to be laid to rest. My husband is a Marine served in Vietnam, we have been looking for a beautiful place to be laid to rest. We visited the veterans cemetery at Higginsville and are were very impressed. It is such a well kept cemetery, it is a beautiful place to be laid to rest. I would recommend this cemetery to any veteran. Arlington is a beautiful cemetery and so is Higginsville, we decided on Higginsville veterans cemetery for our final resting place. read more

This is a beautifully-maintained cemetery. The staff is incredibly helpful. There is a lovely small chapel for services down by a pond/lake with beautiful weeping willow trees. read more
