AAA sent a Frank's tow truck (flatbed) to my house (van located in alley behind house) to tow my…read moreimmobile van. The driver was hesitant to try the tow because of the narrow alley. After a couple of talks with his office (encouraging him to try), he hooked up my van with the cable up against the front tire. He pulled down the alley the cable blew out the tire and the driver said that he could not tow the vehicle with a flat. The driver had been pleasant up to this point, but his attitude changed quickly as he didn't want to be responsible. He said that i needed a short tow truck with a dolly. I asked him why he didn't ask his shop to send one from the beginning, and he said they didn't have one. So, instead of telling me that at the beginning, he used poor judgement in trying a bad hookup, resulting in a destroyed tire. Then he tells me that he can't help me, and drives off. To top it off, he tells his shop that he never hooked my vehicle up, the tire was flat at the beginning (he spent about 30-40 minutes at my house), and that I gave him a hard time. I never raised my voice, simply pointed out that he had destroyed my tire, then went back in my house to call AAA to get another tow truck and lodge a complaint. AAA was great; the short tow truck from American Repair and Towing came with the dolly and quickly and efficiently performed the tow. I called Franks and they were abrupt and totally unhelpful. I'm sorry to share such a bad experience, but there it is.

AAA sent a tow truck and I met Chris from Frank's Towing and Transport. He was polite and ask if he could try to change the tire, in five (5) minute he had the tire off and was airing up my spare. He told me of a tire place close and called them for me so I wouldn't have to wait. He also make sure I got to the tire shop safely before he went on his next call. Chris went above and beyond what was expected. Very professional and will use them again. Highly Recommended!!!!
