    The text exchange

They had the nerve to text me it's time for a visit and when I replied not so nicely they called. He wanted to argue and say they're rarely booked a week out. Maybe because you CS is crap. I take my 2 cats to a clinic that really care.

THEY KILLED MY DOG! STAY AWAY!! If I could give a ZERO I would! Today my google review is gone so I am posting everywhere I can so people know this is a very BAD placed for your beloved pet. I took my 5 year old Dacshund, Brady, for a dental yesterday, based on their recommendation. I had gone in for something else and I told them his breath was bad and so the TECH checked his mouth. So I scheduled. Plus his teeth were done 2 years ago, NO EXTRACTIONS needed. ( Different dentist I moved ) I got a call from the Dr. yesterday ( While he was under anesthesia ) telling me he needed 29 of his 42 teeth extracted. Mind you they have seen this dog 3-4 times in the last 18 months and charged me an "Exam Fee". Apparently there has been no exam done or someone should have noticed basically ALL his teeth were rotting out of his mouth! The dog was eating HARD food everyday and treats with NO issues, very happy healthy dog! At this point the dog had already been under for 1 hour, and they do not like to keep them under for more than 3 hours, which I thought was excessive for a 5 year old 14 lb dog. I told her to take as few as possible as quickly as possible. Apparently they were looking for the "BIG TICKET" yesterday and kept him under to long and he is now DEAD!! Not sure if it was incompetence or inexperience with anesthesia but they killed my whole heart and sole yesterday! When I arrived frantic, almost 1 hour later, let me REPEAT that I arrived 1 hour later there was a group 'STAGED" around him trying to resuscitate him. This was totally staged as we all know he would have been brain dead after 10 minutes!! I am completely sure these money hungry bastards did not spend over an hour trying to resuscitate my dog, Brady. They also mixed my Brady up with another customers dog, a gentleman Mike had his dog in and they called him and told him that his dog had a cardiac arrest on the table, when he arrived it way my dog dead on the table not his. They apologized to him and said we are very busy today and it has been chaotic plus we are short handed! Take your beloved pet somewhere else if you want them back alive! Please share with everyone you know so our pets stay alive and well!! See photos of my Brady Alive and his grave!!

Compassionate, thorough, and truly caring!…read more I brought my golden doodle, Kobe, in after he suddenly became lethargic and wouldn't jump up on the bed. The team here was so kind and patient from the moment we walked in. The vet took her time examining him carefully--checking his neck, spine, hips, and even his tail with such gentleness. She explained everything clearly, made sure Kobe was comfortable, and helped me understand what was going on. It turned out he likely pulled something in his back. They gave him pain meds, anti-inflammatories, and nerve medication, and she emphasized how important rest is even after he starts feeling better. I left feeling completely reassured and grateful for the care he received. After this experience, I've decided to switch to this clinic permanently. It's rare to find a veterinary team that combines skill, empathy, and genuine love for animals the way they do. Highly recommend!

They were able to accommodate our needs right away and got him on anti-seizure meds quickly and even observed him for the day to ensure the meds were working. The staff were friendly, caring and very knowledgeable. Pricing was a little high but that's the cost of having Urgent Care available and having knowledgeable staff giving up their weekends to ensure your pets are safe. Definitely not as high as a 24/7 emergency care clinic and In sure regular visits would be even more affordable. This is a privately owned clinic and not a corporate location(who charge way more). All in all, we're glad they were there and able to give our pup some relief quickly. They were even right in their suspected diagnosis of a brain tumor, as we spent the next 3 days watching our pup get better and then turn the opposite direction with an ultimate decision to put him down as it progressed too far for any quality of life. The meds worked for about 24 hours or so and then he started having focal seizures while on the meds. This showed the signs that the tumor had progressed too far already and was effecting his ability to function normally. We would absolutely use them again if ever in need and we didn't experience any of the issues expressed in some of the poor reviews left for them. Some people expect everything for free and pets are expensive to care for. This place definitely deserves better reviews than what some have left. You lack of reading what you're signing isn't their fault, and they are very much upfront about what the costs could be. We were quoted $1,500 and ultimately paid just over $1,000 so I don't see them trying to bait and switch anyone. Highly recommend them if they are an option for you! If we didn't have a vet already, we would certainly use this one more regularly.

!! WARNING!! Absolutely do not take your rabbit here…read more Dr Rivas advertises that she sees "exotic" pets but when she reaches her (very limited) rabbit knowledge, she blames it on lack of facilities. When I went to a different hospital, an actual rabbit specialist with 30 years of experience, they informed me that Dr. Rivas diagnostics were completely wrong and they couldn't understand why she only provided chest x-rays and not skull X-rays, given my rabbits sinus infection. They also wanted to know why Dr. Rivas didn't move forward on the anemia diagnosis that showed in my rabbits bloodwork, considering how deadly it is. Her PCV had dropped from 23 to 8. The vet said it's the worst case of anemia she's ever seen. My rabbit has passed away to due the neglect and inexperience of Lydia Rivas, and this isn't to be taken lightly. The exotic specialist informed me that they are receiving an abundance of malpractice referrals from inexperienced vets and are building a case against them to be stopped. Save yourself the time, heartache, effort and money and go see a dedicated exotic specialist and not Dr Rivas that parades around as a knows-all sees-all. It's also worth pointing out that there was critical testing done at Rivas' office that should have been returned in 3-5 days, that wasn't returned to me for 2 weeks. This office left me on my own to call the lab directly to get results; and Rivas never called me with the results nor did she return my phonecall, she had her tech send me an email. When I called her office to let her know my rabbit passed, I asked her to call me back and she didn't. This person lacks any compassion, which is essential when treating someone's pet that is their family member. You also won't enjoy her condescending nature to say things like, "remember when I said..." Over and over. Rivas: remember when I said my rabbit couldn't breathe, and you're only response was "give her a steam bath"? Even chat GPT knows that a rabbit that can't breathe is a life threatening emergency, but your lack of knowledge prevented you from giving her actual treatment or recommending that I take her to emergency room asap. If you didn't know what to do, you could have asked someone or said "I actually don't know, this rabbit needs a DOCTOR." This was preventable. Incompetent, inexperienced, ego-driven vets are killing our pets with wrong diagnosis and ineffective treatment. Do not spend your money here if you care about your rabbits livelihood. It's difficult for me to remark on cost because I would spend any amount of money to help my animals. However it's worth noting that the day my experience began at Parrish my rabbit had also seen a vet at Keystone Animal Hospital that morning. Yesterday I found out that these two veterinary offices are owned by the same person and operate as "sister offices" sharing vet communication and pet profile information. That day, I was charged by both offices for the same thing. To be clear, I went to keystone first where they charged me for blood work and X-rays, and then that afternoon I went to Parrish where Rivas charged me for the same bloodwork and X-rays. Two offices, that share information, charging the same customer for the same testing, on the same day. This is a huge red flag for me that the doctors most likely get paid on production and that my pets well-being is secondary. So not only did this increase the money I spent, it unnecessarily stressed out my rabbit. Please do not bring your pets here.

Emma, vet tech, greeted me when I walked in. She knew my cat's name but I may have been the only customer with an appointment at the time, but I was still impressed. When I first walked into the exam room I was shocked at how sterile and unfriendly the room felt. It gave me the feeling of a non-compassionate atmosphere. The exam room had a single cabinet with built-in sink and the exam table folded down from the wall. There were 2 chairs. I love the floor to ceiling window. It made the room bright & allowed for my cat to search for birdies. Perhaps I felt taken aback because where I lived before we took our pets to a Fear Free practice. Perhaps it is because they are a new building. I hope as time goes on they will add some decorations on their walls and some Fear Free practices to help give a more friendly vibe. Will I go back? Absolutely! The veterinarian Dr. Nina Krajewski and her vet tech Emma were fantastic! They took the time to listen to the history of my cat and they took the time to give her a thorough exam. They showed compassion and care. While talking with Dr. Krajewski and Emma, my cat decided to show her distain of being at the vet by pooping in the crate. Emma gladly offered and then cleaned the crate. Thank you Dr. Krajewski and Emma. You are both wonderful and make a great team.

My wife discovered a small lump on his right rear legend took him to Dr. Nina's Animal Hospital for a check. On Feb 7th, the Dr removed the benign lump and that part is well. She was charged $492.86 for this but I have no idea if that is normal or high. What someone "decided" to do was cut all of the cat's hair off down to 1/4" to do this procedure which for a cat amounts to being naked for the next 3 or 4 months. Since Feb turned out be cold as usual and we live in a under insulated mid 1986 mobile home, the floors are colder than the upper part , the cat developed a sickness with dry heaves less than 2 weeks after the surgery and was diagnosed with pneumonia on Feb 21st. Kris was taken to Dr Nina's office at 12:30 for diagnosis and was kept for x-rays. My wife as called at 4PM to pick him up at 5 PM which she did. At that point she was charged $836.86 for what that I have not gotten a responce from Dr Nina's office as of yet. My wife was told that this was our fault because the floors are cold. No mention of he no longer had hair to insulate him or that my wife was not offered or advised to get a cat sweater. So it's $836.86 for I am presuming is an x-ray and a shot or two of pneumonia medicine. Does that seem excessive for a 4 hour visit and this treatment or is it just me being ignorant of reality? 2nd review from Nextdoor Dea When my dog passed away at that office I STOPPED GOING THERE! The dog was only 7 yrs old and they failed to do a complete blood panel before surgery. I failed my dog as an owner for not knowing more about the protocol. I am sure he had an underlying issue WE were unaware of....yeah, I have nothing good to say about the place. As for WHAT they charge always have them give you an estimate before accepting any work. VET NEXTDOOR does a great job and excellent work - from X-rays to surgery.
