So angry! this is the first time I've ever left him with anyone and I thought he would be well cared for! I won't be leaving him again with anyone. he's completely stressed out because of this.

I had a good tour of the kennels (unannounced) and meet some of the dogs that were in at the time. They all seemed happy and well cared for. My dog stayed for two weeks and when I picked him up he was clean and looked great. He has a special diet which was adhered to (he has the runs otherwise). They were also very flexible with the time I picked Max up at as my flight was delayed. I have now used them on a few different occasions for long weekends and the standard is the same and Max seems to love the girls. I would definitely recommend.

Milly is in a huff with us for days when she comes home as Sam and her family spoil her rotten. I know milly is in safe hands and is cared for. Sam is a genuine dog lover and this shows when sam picks her up, and milly is always glad to see her. Sam also sends regular texts on how your pet is and will pick your dog up for free if your within 3 miles. The dogs are walked regulary and have fun. Like i say, milly looks forward to staying with sam and her family and we treat it as a wee holiday for her. Sam keeps your pet in her own home and not in a miserable concrete kennel. i will recommend sam to anyone looking to have their dog walked and or boarded. im glad I found her,and so is milly ;)

After an unreliable Yelp recommendation, a dog walker that "doesn't take collies", and four other…read moreunresponsive dog walkers, Fiona of Pawsitive Tails saved the day by coming in all the way from Hamilton to walk my in-laws' loveable bearded collie we were dog-sitting. Leading up to the day we needed her to take out the pup, we set up a meet and greet so Fiona knew where to go, address any questions or concerns and also get familiar with the dog. On the day, I got videos and messages from Fiona saying how much fun the pup had in the park with the pooches. Her rates are competitive and totally reasonable. While she doesn't normally service the Strathbungo/Queens Park area, if you are in the Hamilton area Fiona is brilliant. The pup and I are forever grateful to her, when others have proved to be unhelpful or unreliable.

I was told that as I had already booked him into the kennels, it was not necessary for me to view the accommodation. The owner then said to 'forget it' as he did not want to take my dog at all. So, I went back to my car and was about to drive away when the owner came and apologised for being rude and said he would take my dog for the week. I said no and took my dog home. I telephoned various kennels and got a cancellation with a kennel that was at the opposite ends of the scale from EK Kennels, ie the owners were very welcoming, pleasant and delighted to look after my Cocker Spaniel. The kennels themselves were superb. If you take your dog to EK Kennels, be careful about saying anything that will upset the owner!

Home from home for our dogs Left our two dogs, our beagle…read morepuppy 6 months old and our Cocker Spaniel 3 years old, they had a great time, didn't miss us at all infact our Spaniel didn't want to leave Louise, she looked after them in her own home and we received pictures from her showing our dogs out and about each day having a great time. Our dogs came back healthy and happy and I would have no hesitation in using their services again.

Then their owners discuss any dietry requirements and preferences with the hosts. This cattery is a little bit out of the way in a farm in Eaglesham, the first time we took our cat here we thought we were on the road to nowhere as the only thing we could see for miles was farmland. When we got there the owners couldn't have been more helpful and assured us that out little cat would have a blast. A cute little cattery and i've heard many rave reviews from previous guests. Miow.
