Strongly advise against using this agency for temp work. Be the bigger and better person. Stay away from this staffing agency filled with duplicitous backstabbers that think nothing about professionally cutting your throat. The staffing agency terminated my assignment after only one week because the company liaison claimed my job performance was poor. This stood in stark contrast to the gaslighting from the company liaison that had initially praised my work. In reality, the company liaison terminated my assignment after learning that I was Black and made it known that he did not want any Black person on the production floor in his department. The contact only saw me as the problem that did not fit into the company culture, and blamed me for the termination. Typical behavior from insensitive people who don't care about others. Words for the wise: Take your time, talent and energy to staffing agencies that do not discriminate against Black Americans or send people to companies that openly discriminate against Black Americans. read more

I worked for TERRA as a payroll specialist. The manager was a micro-manager. Even with my experience processing payroll in high-volume over 10k checks per month with 98% accuracy, their micro-manager let me go for no reason. read more

Define "recent" experience. Seriously. I got a call from a "Meredith" in the Everett Corporate office today; other than having to tolerate her unhappy tone and being monotone ...she did not seem to have my information right. But that is fine, I gave her the benefit of the doubt considering I was caught of guard too with the mid-day call (thought she was a solicitor). I explained to her that I actually finished my BAS in Marketing; along with two certificates (Data and Administrative) and that I was finishing my Certificate, in Digital Marketing, by June. Completed all this education in three years, went nons-stop. Feeling grateful. Soon, after she asked, "when was the last time I worked?" Then the conversation pivoted to a most puzzling topic. I was told that since my last job was in 9/2013, I would not qualify as having "recent" experience. I almost fell off my chair. Since, this basically rules out my 20 years of work experience and my recent education? I was one of the lucky few that had enough money and scholarships to return to college and finish. And, now returning to the workforce within weeks of graduation. Side note, she never asked if I had any "recent" work as a volunteer etc. Nor did she seem to care. My "recent" education and work experience was wiped out by the word "recent." I just think this is a joke. The oddest thing to be ruled out for. I guess college work does not count as experience. So, typing 60 wpm does not count as experience; nor completing recent education in software. I mean this is their company but they need to be a little clearer on what the word "recent" really means to their clients. Since, someone just lost out on a high-achiever and an award winning employee that returned to college (above 3.0 gpa) to be an even better asset to a future employer. I ended the call at that point. My son, new to the workforce, had an meeting with a recruiter from Terra Staffing today and was told he wouldn't be able to help him find a job and didn't even know where to start looking. First experience with a staffing agency. They are very fair in the screening process and straight forward with their questions on what you are looking for (pay requirements, what type of work they staff for, and if they will be a good resource ) so I did not feel like my time was wasted. You must continue to check in with the office or online for current available jobs in your skillset. They were realistic with matching, if you have no administration experience then why would the paying client want to hire you, then have to train you?! They don't even deserve a single star to be honest. I had an interview 3 weeks ago, tested and scored with flying colors...and still no job. I've left messages, and still no return calls for employment. The staff is NOT professional in any fashion. During my interview, the recruiter actually pushed away my certifications and qualifications and said they weren't necessary. WTF!! Heres the Bottom Line: 1: Very unprofessional staff 2: Kaitlyn Rengen & Kirsten Poe (recruiters & interviewers) Name calling, they hang up on you and go to lunch, no returned calling with your messages, they forget what job you qualify for, they are not prepared with your records of testing you took with them and they both constantly say "i don't know" and "I dont know where your file is" or "I'll call you back." and they're very rude about it. If they feel your not kissing their butt, you dont get a call from them, and they both tell you they have a job for you all of a sudden then they forget when you call them about it. Very unprofessional. 3: If your over qualified, they try to send you to jobs way less then what you original told them you you'd take. 4: They claim to always be busy over the phone, but every time i go there asking for info about a job...there's always an empty lobby or they are out to lunch or just walking around and joking with other staff members. 5: Terra Staffing is not even BBB accredited (Better Business Bureau) nor have the even applied for it. So, no wonder why they haven't applied for it. 6: The only polite and professional people in this place are the front desk girls. Santana and the darker skinned girl.
