I went to Veronika for two massages. I feel like she cares about her job and feels passionate about the services she provides. She is unvaccinated and that is something I would have liked to have known before being in a small room with her for an hour, so I'm just sharing. That said, she is excellent about keeping her mask firmly on. I took one star away because she spent some time lecturing about how stupid science and doctors are and telling me how she plans to move and join a militia to attack the government and "gain her freedom". I recently completed a series of four sessions to treat some facial swelling that I had after taking a course of steroids. Veronika took the time to ask me lots of questions about my medical history, diagnosis, current health, etc. She spent a significant amount of time with me prior to my first session discussing the treatment, what to expect, etc. She then still spent a full hour on my lymphatic drain massage, which I thought was great. I would echo what others have said about Veronika truly caring about her clients. I could tell she truly wanted me to get better, giving me tips (and tools!) to use at home to keep my condition improving between sessions. Her space is really soothing, and I also felt safe with the precautions she takes related to COVID. I usually started to fall asleep because I was so relaxed! She offers a bit of a discount to book multiple sessions of lymphatic drain massage at once, as multiple sessions are typically needed. I would encourage you to take advantage of this -- yes, it's a lot of money, but it takes time to see improvement. I would definitely come back to Veronika for other body work needs. Today I went with my 11 year old son to Veronika Lenzi Body Work for my son to have manual lymphatic drainage (lymphatic therapy/massage) at the request of his doctor for autoimmune support. I admit to being nervous about how Ronnie (Veronika) would be with a child and my child's ability to lay still for the treatment. The appointment went better than I even dared to hope! Ronnie immediately made a connection with my son as she ushered us to the beautiful and comfortable room where she does her work in the new office on D Street. She was excellent with him! She listened to him talk and engaged with him, helping him to feel at ease and explaining to us what she would do. She was patient with him getting distracted and moving around. Her soothing voice and the lovely soft music created a wonderfully relaxing environment--even for me sitting on a cushioned bench! Ronnie was attentive to my son's needs and even mine as she offered me a rolling stool when I moved closer to be near my son's head. She was professional and knowledgeable. I just had my first deep tissue treatment with Veronika. It was the best and most beneficial massage I've ever had. I am a weightlifter that trains 3-4 days a week; my muscles are chronically tight and I've had multiple surgeries.
