Being a screaming diabetic with insulin always loaded does not seem a good match for anywhere in Italy and it is truly a test of will. But this has become my second home. The cheeses, meats and fabulous fruits help me (almost) overlook the breads and pastas like no other. This place rocks on tapas and makes me a special plate each time. The chorizo is like no other and would be ruined with a carb introduction anyway. I feel like a very special person when I dine here. Acqua fresco is even magical here. We ordered noodles and that took over an hour where is our sushi arrived in about 15 to 20 minutes so we are waiting around for a very long time being told that the food was almost coming. A four-course meal and an entire bottle of wine was 23€. That's a deal, especially with seafood! The dishes included pizza fritta, calamarata, and filetto.
