I was forced to keep the phone I have now, I was having issues with my old phone as I had misplaced…read moreit for a weekend, I found it within 48 hours, they changed the status on my account to lost, no one had any idea of how to change it to found, I was in every week for a month, spending hours there every time, trying everything and anything they could think of to no avail, not one member on the staff, with all the hours I spent there, could help me figure out how to be able to use my old phone. The promo when I first got my phone from AT&T was unlimited HBO for as long as I maintained the account, I lost that benefit when whatever they did to report my phone was lost, no one at this store could help me get it back either, nor were they willing to help me figure it out. I called a helpline, I was unable to even understand the person on the line, I still do not have HBO. This phone overheated within 48 hours of having it, it becomes so hot, it is untouchable, even when turned off. The light on the back is actually occluded as a result of it constantly overheating. I complained about this every time I was in the store, I was told they all do that and not to worry about it, when a device becomes so hot it is untouchable, it burns my hands, something is definitely wrong, no one on the staff there was willing to address this problem either. The new phones came out while I was trying to address the fact my phone no longer works, at half the price of the one I was forced to keep that overheats constantly, a very poor quality device, I was angry. When it was the staff that changed my account, yet, they had no idea how to undo what they did, obviously the staff are not well trained, then they refused to accept my old phone for any trade in value, as it did not work because of what the staff did to my account, they refused to take the overheating phone back as well. I was unable to get there on the Monday into the 4th week, I was there on the Tuesday of that week, I had left a voicemail on the sales manager's phone on Monday morning, which another issue is why hand out business cards if no one is willing to respond to voicemails or texts anyway, explaining I had to wait until I was paid on Tuesday, so I had gas money to drive down there, the place is about an hour away from where I live. Of course, as it turns out, Monday was the 30th day of the period I had the phone that constantly overheats, to the degree it is untouchable, which I brought up every time I was in there, again spending hours there every week to try to undo what they did, so when I went in there on the 31st day, I was refused any trade value of any kind for the phone I was being forced to keep, as well as they refused to allow me to switch to the new phone that was half the price of the phone I was being forced to keep, I was extremely angry, I still am. So I pay a monthly bill of over $200 dollars for YEARS, I have less than what I did have on my old phone, my email stopped working in January, then decided to start working a week ago. I am angry that I was forced to keep such a low quality product, I am angry that I pay over $200 dollars a month when I see ads for a free phone included at $35 dollars a month! Dish is now offering phone plans at $15! I have been a loyal customer of AT&T for over 15 years, this loyalty has not been respected in any way, it appears to be meaningless to AT&T, who appears to be unwilling to honor their commitments made to me when I first started with them. I have passed on so many sales from the competitors, I feel as though I am a fool. This store cares only about sales, no follow through on the commitments they make, the WIFI box I pay $60 for with another line, that is only good for about 8-9 hours a month, I use it to back up my phone, that is about it. I would recommend going anywhere else than here, they are eager to sell something to you, they do not know how to fix the problems they created for me. I am deeply disappointed that loyalty means nothing to AT&T, I am extremely disappointed that the sales staff do not understand the products that they sell, I wasted so many hours in this store trying to fix the problems that the staff created. I ended up spending many more hours on the phone trying to fix the problems that the staff created, I was finally successful. Do not go to this store.

I walked into volts with my son a couple months ago to switch over phones on my Verizon account …read more She was unable to help me but demanded I pay a fee of $20. I told her nicely that I was sorry but I'm not going to pay her money when she was unable to help me . She screamed at me in front of my son and told me I'm never allowed back in the store . I reported this to the Verizon corporation . They also informed me she should not be charging people 20 dollars either . I was so sad I actually cried because of how she treated me . It's unacceptable and was very upsetting considering I pay a lot of money for my bill every month . Nobody should be treated that way . I also work at a business in town and my employer hired them to fix a computer. She told the employer that if she comes to fix the computer I need to sit in the back room. Highly unprofessional and in human to say where I can stand or be in my place of work because she chooses to dislike. She continued to talk horrible about me to my other employees. All over $20 dollars they tried to take from me. I highly highly recommend Wolfland computers and hobby across the street. He's a wonderful person and does a high quality job.
