Verizon Corporate doesn't care about retention at all, they never offer anything for single individuals even if you have been with Verizon for 3 decades. Their representatives can promise you anything and the company doesn't feel like they have to honor what they say. Verizon is now just as uncaring as all the other companies, they don't feel that they have to return the same loyalty that they are shown. I am so done recommending Verizon to anyone! My response to Verizon follow up: Well thank you for recognizing my existence but at this point since I waited months for a Samsung S24+ and the girl I spoke to was very nice but never did what she said, I believe it is a corporate issue because they feel they don't need individuals like me anymore (we are the ones that they built their brand with). I would leave ZERO stars if I could! Verizon offers zero customer care! My internet was not working for 8 months. I called customer service and acknowledged faulty internet and said they would send a new router, BUT they NEVER did!! I called again, and was told they will, BUT this time the router would never connect. Weeks without the internet, I called multiple times seeking assistance but every call was an hour or more I spent on a ladder trouble shooting the router. I requested help, but never got it! My business suffered immensely. I could not receive faxes, for prescriptions, authorizations or even have internet. Today I walked into Verizon to meet with a supervisor at a scheduled time, but was told to wait over 40 min for a supervisor. The rep said he could help me but he don't help after wasting 30 min! I spent 12 hours on phone calls, paid 8 months for faulty internet, 2 trips in the store and still NO HELP!! Their business is disgusting! This place is super scammy! Here's why I'm saying this...I agreed to a $95/month bill when I lost my phone and had to get a new one. They starting billing me $105 right out the gate. I went into the store and they said they would fix it. Well- that has not happened and it's several months later. Yes, to be clear I've been lazy on the follow up and continue to lose money with Verizon every bill cycle. So dumb but sometimes I just don't feel like dealing with BS. I thought I put a review on here (or somewhere) and someone actually responded saying something like they'll check it out. Of course that was more BS. By the way- the most impressive response from a business here would be what you actually did to FIX the problem. To say please contact customer service or whatever is unacceptable- as we've already reached out to tell you what's up...right here. Verizon is fortunate to have Derek representing them. My 91 y.o. mother went in and bought a phone that was not user friendly for her. They also sold her on a watch too that she would never use as a phone. WE took all back and Derek was very patient . After paying restocking and set up fees, (unfortunately non refundable), he then set us up with a basic iPhone. This 5 star review is for his service. I have not always been happy with Verizon. Anyway, he also figured out a monthly charge on her bill that no one else could figure out what it was for. He contacted the dept. that deals with disputes and put me on the phone to investigate and open a case. If you need a tech saavy, nice and patient employee, he's the man. read more

I literally spent 10 minutes on the phone with Tony, he got me squared away remotely through email etc. so that I wasn't wasting too much family time on my Saturday off. Finally my new phones were ready for pickup. I drove in, walked in the door, he met me halfway through the store with my bag and a smile and said Mr. Haley, enjoy the rest of your Saturday. Arrived home from a long weekend trip and my phone blew up. I was terrified I would lose all my data, pictures, etc. and the phone wouldn't restart. Ran to this Verizon store not knowing what time they would close. Arrived just as the associate was closing. He stopped the closing process, restarted my phone and got all the data backed up, then took the time to work with me on purchasing a new one. We remained 2 hours after the store closed. I went to this store to add a line to my plan. After several minutes of sitting and waiting i was placed on a wait list, me being number 2 on the wait list.The person ahead of me was given assistance. However instead of assisting me the person working the floor would take customer s when they walked in the door ahead of me. 25 minutes after this started I left and placed my order over the phone which took all of 10 minutes.
