Verizon sold my dad a flip phone and started services for him and he was medically incapacitated. He was diagnosed with dementia. When I received a bill from Verizon I called the corporate office and spoke with a supervisor who said they would take care of the bill...just like the 3 other phone companies that he opened an account with months apart. Then I received another bill and was on the phone for several additional hours trying to get a supervisor to help me. After speaking with 4 different people I finally was transferred to a supervisor named Axel. He would not provide his call center number...but he said it did not matter that my father was incapacitated that Verizon furnished him with a phone and he needed to return it or pay for it. I let them know we were not sure what happened to the phone...I asked to have the situation escalated and he said it was against company policy for this situation to be escalated. For the hours I spent on the phone was crazy. No one could help me...even though I myself had been a customer for years without incident...this incident has put a bad stench in the companies culture. They gave me a $100 dollar Amazon gift card but then took it back because I only had the account open for 159 days instead of the required 180 days and billed me $100 for it on my last bill. Also after school started the internet got real slow so I switched to COX Internet. To make things worse they had YouTube TV advertised for $72.99 a month when actually it was over $90. They said it had a 3 day trial so I cancelled but I had to call them numerous times to get it refunded. read more

This store is not Verizon, but a 3rd party. I have been bait and switch more than once before I realized what they were doing. They messed up my business account right before I left the state. I went down 3 times to get my account corrected and was told that the manager in Tucson would get back to me. They never did. It cost me an extra $100 a month until I contacted Verizon directly after I left the state to fix it. I know that the Verizon store across from Walmart is a little slow, but they are the real deal. Love Verizon- staff are all great! We had our phones and email hacked and hubby and I had become targets of a senior scam. They even had called unverified 911 calls in my name attempting to have me committed so they could swoop in as caregivers! Family members believed they could simply replace me and my hubby and no one would notice. Even been calling my doctors! Seniors beware ! We are targets! Verizon has better reception, too. I'm a Verizon customer for almost 15 years with five phones on my account. On 8/8/2020, my teenage daughter (living and working 2,000 miles from home) went into this store urgently in need of a new phone. She was told that she could not be helped because she wasn't an authorized user on our account, even though she was on the phone with me and I would have provided all the pertinent information and authorized the purchase. They refused to help her! She went across the street to T-Mobile and is now a very happy T-Mobile customer. I have been trying for days to call this store and speak to a manager but they do not answer their phone, so I am speaking out here. Shame on the staff at this Verizon store for being so awful to her. I would certainly recommend the T-Mobile store across the street! read more

With the shift to 5G, Verizon as a company is completely impossible to work with. Local stores do not answer their own phones. You have to drive to the store to make an appointment for a technical support issue and that might be 2 or 3 days out. Can't call and make an appointment. If you call corporate you have to go through a whole series of hoops that they try to solve your problem without speaking to a real liver person. If you are lucky your issue might be too complex for the computer to understand and then they push you over to a real live person. I spent over 2 hours with Verizon customer service and no results. The last call got disconnected and they did not call me back even though I said call me back if we get disconnected. That happens a lot with Verizon. Maybe great coverage but very poor customer service as the company becomes #1 in subscribers but at the bottom in terms of service. read more

My wife and I recently switched over to Verizon after growing tired of T-Mobile's weak coverage area here in Southern Arizona and the recent acquisition by AT&T. The staff at the Verizon store was super helpful and didn't push the hard sell on anything. They did a good job listening and giving us what we wanted while answering our questions along the way. We ended up going with the iPhone 4 and so far I have not been able to find a dead spot with the coverage (and I cover a large amount of Cochise, Pima, and Santa Cruz Counties throughout the week). Huge thanks to Retail Sales Rep Jillian R. who remembered me when I returned to the store a few days after switching with some minor tech questions. And one of the sales person at this local store, female, yelled at me and my wife over our complaints on "just purchased" phones at the store in front of employees and customers. So I called Verizon Corporate Office right outside the store and reported. And we moved to Sprint. It happened about two years. As of that time, we'd been with Verizon for more than ten years with excellent payment record. Be careful of Verizon. read more

This rating is not just indicative of this specific store, but Verizon as a whole. The people will be very nice to you but you'll get a different story from every person each month you get your bill and it has a problem. Our bill has varied from month to month for the past year! One on the sales reps at this store came across so nice and helpful, we ended up upgrading our phones, had an issue and he would never call us back. I even called the store manager and he said he would have said employee call us back... which never happened. A few days later I called the manager to help us with the situation and he didn't answer and his mail box was full. I tried him for several days with no answers. I would advise anyone looking for a new cell phone plan to NOT go with Verizon! read more

Every time I called I waited for hours for someone to pick up then talked with them for hours only for them to screw up more. Waste of time and money 10/10 would not recommend. After reading the reviews, we were prepared for the worse going into this Verizon but kept an open mind. It was a Saturday around lunch time so of course the place is hopping. We had only about a 5 minute wait before Domenic started to help us. Keeping our phone numbers was important and once he assured us that could happen, we were eager to leave dreadful Sprint. As any Sprint user will tell you, their coverage is awful in this area and quite frankly many other areas we've traveled. We've been delayed changing service providers because Sprint has made the process of unlocking our phones a long and painful one. We were told on multiple occasions the phones would be unlocked in 48 hours, but never seemed to happen. We were confident all our phones were now unlocked and ready for us to become Verizon users. We had three phones to transfer, two iPhone 6 and one iPhone 6 SE which belongs to our son but we didn't know his pass code. So I made a quick run home to get the code and while I was gone, Domenic continued to make things happen. Verizon had some great promotions this day which we qualified for, thank you Domenic! All is well until we get to the last phone, my phone, only to find out Sprint has yet to unlock it, big shocker! We call Sprint and apparently there is nothing they can do at this time and we are told we will have to call back in 3-5 business days! Are you freaking kidding me? As if having terrible coverage isn't enough, you have unknowledgeable customer service reps and make cutting ties with your company the most difficult thing ever. Clearly, I'm not a happy Sprint customer and this is just reaffirming our decision to leave. However, my phone number was already transferred to Verizon so now my phone can't use either sim card. Luckily the staff at Verizon is top notch and gave me a loaner phone to use until this Sprint mess can be cleared up. Way to go Verizon! Changing phone service providers is a different experience for each of us but I don't think given our unique circumstances it could have been any better! I stopped into the store because I've had some problems with my phone lately. I was helped promptly and my phone was updated. Though my phone was restored to default settings-the problem was resolved within minutes. I've been with Verizon for 9 years now and though they are not the most inexpensive, they consistently have service coverage where other carriers don't. If I'm with a group of people, I notice, I'm always the one who still has service-this occurs in multiple areas throughout several states. -so yes, I'll continue to be a customer. read more

Used to be the best service. The connection is horrible even in the center of Sierra Vista. Can't get 4G. Usually one to two bars at best. Verizon is the most expensive service provider and just not worth the money here in this town. More people need to complain about the quality of their connection so they can actually get 4G anywhere in town. When's contract is up, I will look for least expensive options. read more

I went to the store to add another line the manager told me to have seat three people were in line a head of me while waiting another customer walked in told the manager that he wanted his best customer person his not happy with his new phone which is losing charge he told him to wait there's 3 people ahead of him the guy said ok and seat at the end of the where I was seating a few minutes later it was turn and the manager called the guy with battery issue that came after me said since your issue is easier I will take care of you first so I kind waved at the manager line what are you doing I been waiting he turns towards me says you will be next this guy had an appointment so I told the manager I been seating here waiting I head the whole conversation between you and the guy you don't have to lie just because he was upset that doesn't mean you jump him in line it was my turn he was very rude and said it's my store if you have an issue call the customer service line. All I wanted for him to recognize he was wrong for what he did the fact that I been with Verizon since it was cingler wireless I guess don't mean anything I call this piss poor management. I spoke to a very nice employee who said there store general manager just got promoted since there are no one above him there nothing that can be done. I found the staff incredibly polite and helpful. They were very helpful without being "pushy". The phone service itself is awesome. I was at the mall today and stopped in to inquire as to how to block a number. The associate Dante asked to see my phone. All he managed to do was make it so every call I get goes directly to voicemail and explain to me why his iPhone was so much better than my phone. He then gave me a tutorial on how to block numbers on his phone even though it was not at all beneficial. After walking away I just googled it and figured out how to do it on my own. It has to be done through the account not the phone. I would expect an employee to know such a thing even if the customer doesn't own an iPhone. Two stars because I'm sure they can figure out how you can pay a bill and if you have any iPhone issues young Dante seems to be a wiz. read more

I never give reviews but this needs to be said!! (Sorry it's so late) Dom at Verizon did an amazing job on helping me on Saturday the 23rd. My dumb butt waited too long replace my junky phone and the screen wouldn't do any thing but flash. When I got my new one I couldn't retreive anything. My Google wasn't updated and didn't xfer. I thought all my pictures, contacts and passwords were lost for good. Dom worked some serious magic! He was able to get them all back! He was truly amazing as we're the rest of the staff there! Robert 1 2 3 4 5 I just moved to Sierra Vista, AZ, got rid of my landline and went with Verizon cell, which is good. However, on my second visit to trade for a different phone, Stephanie at the local store sold me a HUM. She told down my e-mail address and I created a pin. I could not access HUM online. Went back a week later and was told they had wrong e-mail address. I was told it was corrected and I could now access HUM online and use it's vehicle diagnostic code. Again could not access online. Also received call about over due billing. Went to the store again and was told they e-mailed me my bill. Well guess what? Top the wrong e-mail address. I went to the store today 2/11/2018 and asked for my money back since inept staff could not tell me how to use HUM and could not even write down correct e-mail. I was told no because past 14 days. I was given 800 to cancel HUM. After 17 minute wait Jeff answered and told me they still had the wrong e-mail, which he said he corrected and will have bills mailed to me. I want my money back because SERVICES AND STAFF WERE INEPT. I plan on taping the following sign to my front and back care window: VERIZON CHEATED ME, parking my car in front of the Verizon store while go next door for coffee. I also plan one day a week walking with same sign on public sidewalk. This will be on weekends because I work in Tucson and have to drive 3 hours a day total to and from work. Got our Droids here and were immensely pleased with the knowledge of the staff and the selection of items. Lots of goodies and almost overwhelming if you are looking for a new piece of tech to round out current gear. Definitely need more slick sheets and handouts on apps for phones and more info on net books. Con: Don't like the number process and the long wait, not sure what the other associates are doing off to the right of the store, but they aren't dealing with in house customers. I wanted to give these Verizon folks no stars.Everything these people told me turned out to be a lie.the pay you to switch is a joke.they make you turn in your phone and give you peanuts for them.I was informed that I was going to receive money back for my early termination fee's from sprint.I had to pay 120 dollars and Verizon gave me back 29.Not only did they get my new phone for nothing they never kept the word on reimbursement. I feel greatly discriminated against after two separate occasions of insufficient customer service the first time I went in to purchase a case and was treated with complete disregard. This Time I needed a SIM card to replace the one I had but I did not have the device with me and the representative refused to issue me a working sim card without the device when I am fully aware that it is possible. This representative sold me the device I needed help with which frustrated me the most! She did however, go out her way to help the woman next to me, providing her with an extension of some sort. I had to drive home with two babies with me and drive back just for a SIM card probably because I'm black and I recorded it! She never greeted me to put me in the que when I did come back, she completely ignored me but did run to the front to greet the following person and told me to "calm down" when I politely asked her to add me to the que before the following person. I guess because I'm black I'm expected to be hostile. I was frustrated but I did not cause a scene. read more
