The smirks, eye-rolls and apathy about their roles just added oodles and oodles of fun to this whole debacle. Not only am I saving probably around 170/month with T mobile but they made that whole process of switching carriers, answering all my questions enjoyable. Ok, how do I say this? My Iphone 16 Pro Max screen cracked from a heavy leveler that fell onto the…read morephone screen. I needed to replace the screen immediately before my trip. I couldn't get the screen in time through Amazon. Based on the reviews and I went to Niles. The brothers were very nice and replaced the screen for $250.00. In less than a week, the screen started to crack due to dropping the phone which I never had a problem with OEM screen. The phone became hot and the screen wasn't very bright. I couldn't take photos outside cuz it became very dark. Battery drained very fast. I talked to the owner about it and he said that the IOS software update caused the battery to drain and there's nothing he can do about the crack. So I ended up ordering a high quality "OEM" aftermarket screen from Amazon by ReOriginal ($280.00) and replaced the screen myself. BINGO, the screen works the way it should and didn't have an issue even I dropped the phone. So do your research before buying a replacement screen, ask about the brand, and quality. When I tried to transfer all of the data from my old phone I ran into issues so I needed a way to backup my old, broken phone in order to transfer everything to my new phone. Obie, essentially rented me a replacement screen to allow me to make a backup on my broken phone. He went above and beyond to help me resolve my somewhat unique situation and everything worked out perfectly for a really great price. I had called Nile's phone repair before speaking to Obie at Cell Phone Tech. Nile's only solution to my problem was to charge me $300 for a new screen on a phone that I was going to have to send back to Verizon anyways. Obie resolved my issue for a fraction of that price. I had a 99.00 buyout leftover in my phone and was told by MAURICE that if I purchased 130.00 in accessories he would waive the 99.00 buyout. I did that and have a receipt showing I was only charged 10.00 for the buyout plus the 130.00 for accessories I could have purchased on Amazon for 40.00 BUT I now have the 99.00 charge on my Verizon bill and Verizon says since they're not a Verizon store I'll have to go back in person. I live 300 miles away. He also told me my phone going forward would be 11.00 a month but it's 18.00 a month. I've left 3 messages with the store through Verizon but they will not return my call.
