I have visited the Verizon store twice now and been told that there are insane wait times. The first time I could understand, the store was very busy. However, I was just in there and there were 2 groups of people waiting. I was told, well, can't help you at all today. We are booked up. I am wondering why I wasn't offered an appointment for this afternoon when I stopped there yesterday. I am in desperate need of a new phone and now can't get in until sometime next weekend. It's ridiculous. If you need an appointment, then they should make that clear and offer one when you stop in. WTH? Drove to the store yesterday. Got there around 2pm. The sign on the door said open Sunday's from 11am-6pm. The door was locked, lights off and no one was there. Went into buy a new phone. Usually my family goes to a different store, where associated are extremely helpful. We opted to not buy an accessories or other items (which they were very pushy about) and the person helping us quickly turned very rude. In fact, at the end of the transaction portion (associates are supposed to help to set up the phone), he gave us the phone still in the box and told us to "have a nice day". The Oakwood Mall Verizon store is not a place I wish to do business. Needed to return an item, was told I had the opportunity to wait 30 minutes. When I replaced my phone it took nearly 2 hours, which is crazy poor service. Between the attitude of the staff, the waiting and the up-selling I will go their only when I am desperate. FYI Verison, it is not a privilege to do business with you. To top this off after I went back another day I could not return the item anyway. They do not stand behind their products. To be fair they replaced the item that was not working with an upgraded version. Still angry and unhappy. read more

He was assign a young man that answered all of his questions with one word answers and was not willing to advise him. I have been with my current phone for a year and a half (junk since week two) and would love to upgrade, but Verizon's oligopolistic mindset will not help me. The Verizon employees have no idea what they're doing and have very bad customer service. They made a mistake on their end which took me FOUR separate trips (over the span of two months because I live 40 minutes away) to solve the issue and receive a refund. The solutions manager didn't even attempt to help me until the end of my fourth time being there. And when I say "help" I mean he wrote ONE SINGLE email and that was it. He never responded to my follow-up emails asking for updates. Overall, WORST company ever. Don't waste your time. After I FINALLY received my refund I switched carriers. read more

Brad Rehfeldt is the manager the Oakwood Mall Drive Verizon in Eau Claire WI and is completely CROOKED in my opinion. I spoke with one of his underlings and he was a parrot of Rehfeldt. Rude, arrogant and unwillinging to help you once they had my money and I had a problem. My problem? I wanted my old phone back after a couple of days within the fourteen day cancellation period and he wouldn't give it back, contrary to what Verizon's corporate employees said was standard policy. They told me that they are to keep my phone on their property for the 14 day cancellation period so the customer can come back and get the phone if they cancel. The above said, I bought a phone and when I went to return it WITHIN THE FOURTEEN DAY RETURN POLICY they wouldn't give my trade-in phone back. They said they don't have it!!! We are taking this fraud to the Attorney General in WI. They are suppose to keep your phone ON HAND for 14 days but they don't. They say they sent it away and you're suppose to take a replacement. Then they said I couldn't get it back period!!! At first they said they would give back ANOTHER PERSONS phone instead of mine but then they said they don't have to give ANYTHING BACK!!! The reason why they hassle you is because they don't want you to cancel out of the contract!!! This Verizon is the worst place of business I've ever been to ever in Eau Claire for 35 years I've lived here. It's a corporate owned Verizon unlike the other Verizon's in Eau Claire. The one on Clairemont Ave I recommend as they are privately owned and very friendly. Yes, if you have a problem you deal with the owner instead of the fascist owned corporate Verizon which is NO HELP when you have a problem. Again, Brad Rehfeldt is the manager at the Oakwood Mall Dr Verizon location and he is completely CROOKED as well as corporate because when I went to them they lied and lied. They said they were going to help and didn't. Long waits on the phone and disconnects to top it off. Incredibly poor service to say the least. TIP: Keep your tradein!!! That way you won't need to buy insurance on your new phone as you'll at least have a back up if you damage your new phone! This is why Verizon desperately wants your old phone! Yes, they want it so you'll feel you'll need insurance and then buy into their EVIL little insurance MONEY MAKING plan. Beware of Verizon in general. Again, if you need to go to Verizon go visit the one on Clairemont Ave Eau Claire as they are friendly and a privately owned store. Ask for the owner Dave. read more
