Terrible customer service. The employee Abraham was rude and dismissive and told me to come back for Black Friday since he didn't know prices. I explained I was interested in the IPhone Pro and the Samsung note 10. The employee then said he didn't care if I bought it. I was frustrated and walked out of the store and the employee said "whatever". I called back and asked for a manager and the employee Abraham said he was the manager. I then specified I know he's not the manager I would like to speak to the store manager. I was then hung up on. Upon returning to the store since I had called front the parking lot the employee was surprised. The manager Oscar hid in back and talked to me after waiting for 10 minutes. He said his employee wasn't a manager and then told me his employee had hung the phone up and he was going to try to call me back. Sub par service from a subpar store. Keep in mind this review is not based on me being a Verizon cell customer. The location is easy to find and right near the mall, (same side as Dick's and Panera), just off Burnsville's main road. I purchased a Nest product here to make my home smart. The staff was very helpful and thoroughly answered questions I had about the thermostat. I didn't feel hustled to buy more or add more products, which I greatly appreciated. When I was checking out, a group of other staff shared their opinion on my purchase. It was not annoying, in fact, they shared some personal stories about what I just purchased. Best part, there was a $50 rebate on the product that week! Honestly I will never get a plan here again. I had T-Mobile for years and they were at least responsive when you needed help. They are no help at all in store. They especially don't seem to be of any help if you're not looking to buy a new phone or plan. We had issues with our plan and account information and every answer they could provide us with was to call contact support. So after trying to contact support for an hour in the store and being visibly upset the sales associate could magically help us get the information we needed that he couldn't help us get at first. Not to mention while we're seeking help everyone that works there is too busy making jokes and laughing. read more

When I got a new phone, (I do not have internet, except for my phone). I needed some assistance. I stopped over to the Burnsville store, I had to stand outside and talk to the big bearded guy. He would not help me... he told I had to go find my own Internet somewhere and do it myself. It really makes me want to go with a different provider, when you can't get help like in the past. Very disappointed! I know that COVID has changed things.. but he wouldn't help in any way. Twice went in. 3 rude employees. Not just one. Had to return a phone after 1 day for issues and they got irritated and told me to take it to Apple Valley and they weren't going to return it. It was a brand new phone. Apple Valley location was great, so this is an employee issue at Burnsville location. Was not going to leave this bad review until I sent my mother in there today and she called me to let me know how badly the service was and how rude they were. I love Verizon as a phone company but please if you can, avoid this location. all they care about is selling you a phone and then when any issues come they are no help. some staff there are amazing but it seems like the ones higher up at the store don't care. I got a brand new phone and a week into having it it stopped working. they said they overnighted me a replace phone and still haven't received anything and gave me no info on tracking the package. went in today (5 days after I was suppose to receive my phone) and they wouldn't even look for a second to see if the order went through on their side. read more

They are like robots following cues and are unable to assist with something unless they receive a prompt of what to say on their screen. They hold their devices and pretend to work. After the only sales person babbled to the person he was helping and kept repeating the same info to that customer, someone else finally came out to help us. The GM just stood around welcoming people in instead of helping as well. Only to find out they can't transfer the current service to be phone. You should really rethink the service model at these stores. And to see you have a 2 rating, makers complete sense. I experienced some terrible customer service at Verizon in Burnsville, MN today. I came in to talk to an employee face to face to buy a new phone, cancel an old account and add a new line. The employee handed me a card and told me to call the number on it to get help. When I explained that I specifically came to the store to sort all of this out in person he again referenced the card and told me to call the number. I left the store with more questions than answers and ended up just doing everything on the app. I can understand if that is just the procedure at Verizon, but what then is the point of having employees at the store? And maybe the guy was just having a bad day, but the employee I dealt with had quite the dismissive attitude toward my questions and concerns about using the app to navigate this on my own. read more

Do not go to this store! I visited the store on multiple locations and waited up to 45 minutes each time and was never even acknowledged that I existed. Finally, the third time I went in, a person spoke to me and told me they couldn't disconnect my line, instead I had to call a number. I called this number on multiple occasions and was disconnected by Verizon every single time. Once I was able to get through and explained about the poor service, they apologized. But then when I said I wanted to cancel my service and wanted a refund of the last month of service, they (Jan) places the blame on me for not contacting them. I mean, are you kidding me! I went in for help with my new Apple IPHONE...the phone was purchased the day before at a different Verizon location and the transfer of information from my Android phone to my new IPHONE was not going thru. MATT at this location was awesome. Some of the other guys there said all the information wouldn't transfer, but he was able to get it done! Worst store ever. I usually do all my phone business online but Verizon now has in store pick up I thought how convenient I won't have to wait two days for my new phone. I went to get it and they would mot give it to me because it was in my husband's name. Even though I am on the account. After coming home and calling verizon I found out their was no valid reason for them mot to process my order and give me my phone except they are lazy. Never have I had a positive experience here. They are not helpful and extremely condescending. They've set up my phone incorrectly, to the point where it will not call or text, not one but THREE times. When I've had issues with my phone they have never been helpful so I went a bit further from home to Mall of America who has gone above and beyond. Burnsville should take a note from them on how to keep their loyal customers. For those coming from south of the river, don't waste your time just take the extra 10 minutes to go to MOA. Been waiting 45 minutes and still waiting cuz they increased our bill 40.00 after we cancelled a 50.00 phone that was done on contract. I bought Ipad Air + Iphone6 today. I got there right at 10am to avoid a wait. It was quiet at first and I joked to the staff I had closed off the street until I was taken care of. Jake, Matt, and Katrina all were professional, it was a good experience, though, it did get busy (but not dark), by the time I left. I stopped in with my broken phone and was very pleased with the service. My phone was out of commission due to a dead screen. Fortunately I had insurance on my phone. When Verizon's employee's learned about my insurance plan they were quick to order me a new phone that would be over nighted. But wait it doesn't stop there. When I got my new phone I was told , by other repair shops, it would be next to impossible to get my contacts and photos back. Fortunately due to Google cloud and the knowledgeable Verizon staff I was not only able to get my phone contacts back, my photos, but my apps aswell. The staff was pleasant to work with, my wait time in the store was at a minimum during both visits. I could not be more happy with my service. read more

It is with shock and dismay that I am writing this. I visited the verizon wireless store adjacent to the Burnsville center....twice today. I had an issue with my phone and as I am 38 days from my two contract renewal I went in with hopes they could either assist with my phone issues or give me an early contract renewal and pricing for a new phone. Sadly, neither of those things were accomplished and to add insult to injury I left there with my phone in worse condition. I lost pictures and music after their expert tampered with the phone. Then I was told that nothing they would have done could have caused the issue. I was made to wait to even speak to someone even after I told them I had already been in once today and was back for the same issue plus the missing data from memory! At no time did anyone escalate the matter or even make a call to customer support to see if they could assist in getting me out of my broken phone and into something that functions. They made me waste several hours of my day between the two visits WITH my children in tow. I am a disabled veteran and live by myself and like many people I have done away with my landline. From a safety standpoint alone I need a device that works. No one in the place will lift one finger to help or provide anything remotely described as "wow" service. Now I am stuck dealing with the support folks over the phone because no one at a local level is empowered or willing to make a decision or even take the initiative to call someone on my behalf. How do you EVER allow a loyal customer to leave your place of business with one of YOUR products worse off than before you molested their device? Plus when questioned your ambassador is argumentative. I try to do business with local businesses and spend my money where I live and deal with a human, with a face and a heartbeat. Today I was severely punished for having such silly and antiquated notions. They push you off and force you to go straight to the top....that is if you dont just give up all together. Arrived at the store at 10am first customer in. Had to sign in on the computer and wait 15 minutes before sales would deal with me even though I was the only customer. Computers were out of date and they where not able to sell me an upgrade. Called 2 days later around 30 times (I really want this phone) no answer every time.
