My family and I were traveling from the USA and were looking for a place to eat after working up an appetite. We came across this little cafe and were so thankful we did because not only was it very cozy and offered a nice atmosphere, it had delicious food and friendly staff. We started with the finger food plate which allowed us to try several traditional Dutch snacks. I got a soup of the day (which was absolutely perfect for the chilly day it was). My sons each got a toastie, my husband got a meatball sandwich (which was HUGE!) and my sister got a halloumi sandwich which was the sandwich of the day. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals.
Other things to note: The prices of the food was very agreeable since the portion sizes were generous. So you get a lot of value for what you pay. The waitress was very polite, kind and answered all our questions. Our boys enjoyed playing on the playground next to the cafe while we waited for our food and I liked that I could watch them from the window where we were seated. Overall, this is a wonderful establishment to visit! read more
